Dr. Florine is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who grew up in Mankato and graduated from both the University of Minnesota College of Liberal Arts and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He completed a two-year General Practice Residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center and Charity Hospital in New Orleans, where he learned the secrets of the authentic crawfish boil from an adopted Cajun grandmother.
Dr. Florine completed his oral surgery residency at the University of Minnesota, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
He played trombone in the University of Minnesota Marching Band and can participate in more University Alumni Band events now that his two young adult boys needand wantless of their dads time. He recently parlayed some newly acquired and long overdue nutrition basics with a (partly) pandemic-inspired walking regimen to arrive at his best health in many years and would love to bore you with the details.
