After being advised I needed a root canal by my periodontist before considering a molar extraction, I did my own research and decided to book a consult with Dr. Phillip R. Newton, an oral surgeon in Allen. I was extremely scared, but also in pain. You can trust his reviews online as I did. I had the extraction today. The procedure was exactly as promised. Pain free. As I write this tonight, I have no pain and took no pain meds other than one Tylenol 9 hours ago. I would send my family to him. He's simply THAT GOOD. I hope by writing this review others facing oral surgery issues will not wait as I did. I saw the tooth he removed, and I'm glad to be rid of it! The staff is polite and caring as well.

Had an implant done, and all was great. No pain. Very little blood to deal with during the day, and very little, if any, swelling. Everyone did a great job!

Highly recommend Dr. Newton, the nurses and this office. All were very professional and nice and calming. My son had his wisdom teeth out on Friday and I appreciated he did not have to wait long to be taken back and he felt the staff put him at ease. The Dr. and nurses patiently answer concerns and questions. My son has healed up very well and was back in school on Monday feeling good!!

Dr. Walstad was amazing. He was comforting and reassuring. He explained the process and addressed my concerns. The front desk staff was cold, unengaging and unwelcoming. They all seemed robotic, made everything feel transactional. They are the 1st people you encounter and I would think they should make the best impression. No one greeted me or smiled. As soon as I walked in all she said was Name? I was extremely nervous and scared as I fear the dentist. It was disappointing. The assistant was ok. She didn't small talk she went straight to business, but that's standard I guess. The doctor was amazing and he made up for it. I would definitely recommend the him.

Very professional and patient friendly! The doctor called me the evening after my surgery to check on me. Not many doctors do that-it's usually a nurse that calls. I would definitely refer this office to anyone needing oral surgery!
