Not the experience I expected based on the reviews. Concerns fall on deaf ears and directions/information isn't clearly explained prior to procedures.

This was my 1st visit to Dr. Tate, for a wisdom tooth that didn't grow in fully. Within 45 minutes of being there, I was done. The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful. Dr. Tate has a great sense of humor and explained everything before the surgery. While the visit was super quick, and painless (I had the laughing gas), him and his team will be the ONLY ones I ever visit for an oral surgery. Major thanks also goes to Dr. E. Thomas at eastlight Dental for referring me. Super thanks to Dr. Tate and his team. You guys are amazing!

I recently got my wisdom teeth extracted. Thank you Dr. Dyke and the dental assistants as well as the office staff for being so professional, welcoming, and kind. I was nervous the morning of my appointment, but Dr. Dyke and his staff put me at ease. The procedure was painless and quick. When I awoke, it was over. Absolutely no complications. If I ever need dental surgery in the future, I will definitely return to Oral Surgery Associates, Dunwoody.

I have never experienced such aggression and lack of empathy from a doctor as my daughter and I did from Dr. Dyke! It was horrible and my daughter had the worst experience of her life. She told Dr. Dyke she was not numb yet he proceeded with his extraction dismissing her feelings. It wasn't until she almost came out the chair that he stopped to numb her completely. He was so unprofessional until it brought me to tears. She ended up being cut and receiving stitches for his lack of service. When asked why did he treat her that way he proceeded to tell me that he's treated many patients and he felt she was confusing pressure with pain. How dare you not hear her and recognize she's 14! She knows when she's in pain. He then said I should have given her the anesthesia he recommended despite us telling him our fears of it and she wouldn't have felt the pain.So basically because I didn't pay the extra 700 ge suggested for anesthesia, he could care less if she was in pain and finally said he would not change anything about her experience! THE WORST EVER! I wouldn't bring an animal to be treated by him again! We are people and deserve doctors who care! Dr. Dyke does not! He was short with words and I was put off by his coldness as a parent! I came here from a recommendation and never again will I spend a dime here nor recommend anyone! Money shouldn't drive how you treat people or provide service. If we weren't comfortable with anesthesia that didn't mean let her suffer in pain. DO BETTER as a professional!

I had a wisdom tooth extracted by Dr. Tate and his team at Oral Surgery Associates on Thursday morning and I was back at work on Friday morning. I have had limited pain and soreness since then. The overall service was outstanding and I would definitely recommend Dr. Tate and his team.

Well I haven't been in as yet to have my surgery, but what I can say for the first time ever I don't feel as nervous as I normally am. Dr Tate and his team assured me that I am in good hands and I don't have any doubts about that.. thank you guys so much

Do not go here. Super unprofessional and do not get back to you. I have called and left Vicki numerous messages for an update on our insurance for my husbands implants and it has been radio silence. She has never gotten back to me and when I call the front desk it's like a crime against humanity to ask them for an update or ask if Vicki is available. It's been months. Will be taking our business elsewhere, esp when I have told Vicki if insurance won't approve it then we will pay out of pocket.

I can honestly say this was the best oral health care I've ever experienced. I was a bit nervous as I knew my planned oral surgery was fairly invasive and involved raising the floor of my both sinuses and placing bone grafts. On my consultation visit, all that anxiety went away as I sensed the relaxed confidence, attention to detail and obvious high level of competency surround me. Throw in the warmth and humor on the day of the procedure and I was all set. Afterwards, a little swelling but very little pain that was well controlled with simple Ibuprofen. Simply the best, I enthusiastically recommend this group of true professionals!

The absolute worst care. They finally took x-ray after x-ray after x-ray after x-ray and the doctor says I think your job is broken so I need to go somewhere else. So my friend had to drive an hour to come pick me up and then drive me an hour to a different location for them to do nothing. Then I paid $100 in Uber charge to get back to my car. I'm still in pain beyond belief. In fact it hurt less to have a heart attack. It hurt less when I've got shot. It hurt when I damaged my skull in a car accident. I am Disgusted frustrated and angry by the absolute lack of care and help from this. Company

All 4 wisdom teeth removal was uneventful (IV sedation). Kind staff and Dr. Tate was awesome. I was in and out of there in an hour. Clear next steps and instructions. Dr. Tate called to check on me later that day. I highly recommend.

Had a wisdom tooth removed yesterday and today I can barely tell that I had surgery. Very mild pain, no bleeding and the swelling is gone. Although, I was a nervous wreck my experience was very pleasant from start to finish. Dr. Tate and his team took great care of me. Dr. Tate even called last night to check on me! I am very pleased.

Dr Tate removed fractured tooth and wisdom tooth. The team of ladies that helped me before during and after surgery were wonderful. I was anxious but they explained everything with compassion and kindness; answered all my questions and kept my family updated. I would definitely recommend this office and I'm appreciative to their kindness and professionalism.

So, I had 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Tate. You might as well just give them a call and stop scrolling. Dr. Tate and his team went above and beyond by providing clear, step by step instructions on what to expect, when to arrive, recovery time and everything. As a Registered Nurse of 15 years I try to align myself with top notch providers in the Atlanta area. They exceeded my expectations. I have minimal swelling and bounced back within one day of my surgery. Ive had a lot of dental work and this by far has been the best experience yet! Ya'll are the best!

My 93 year old dad needed to have a tooth removed. Dr. Dyke and his staff were amazing. My dad even commented on how well the visit went. Just wish the building was handicap accessible, although the practice does not own the building.
