Our doctors and medical staff are board certified in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, with 35 years of collective experience. All members of our staff participate in continuing education every year to remain abreast of the latest news and information regarding surgical procedures and patient care. Dr. Flanagan and Dr. Anderson annually attend education courses to remain on the forefront of surgical techniques and, in turn, provide optimal care to their patients.
Dr. Denise Flanagan has provided surgical care to Indiana residents since 1998. She earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University and her dental degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Her post-graduate residency at Indiana University Medical Center allowed her to develop greater expertise in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Flanagan also has held a position teaching oral surgery to dental students at IU School of Dentistry. She was awarded the 2012 Indiana Dental Associations Ground Breaker Award, and was voted by Indianapolis Monthly as one of Central Indianas Top Dentists in 2011.
Dr. Mark Anderson has provided care to the Indianapolis, Indiana and Danville, Illinois, areas since 1999. Previously, he served as the assistant professor of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Indiana University from 1995 to 1999 where he trained oral and maxillofacial surgery residents. Prior to this he was in private practice in Santa Maria, California, from 1992 to 1995. Dr. Anderson earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Utah and his dental degree at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. He completed his Master of Science Degree in Anatomy at The Ohio State University in 1992. Dr. Andersons post-graduate residency was completed at The Ohio State University Hospitals and Clinics in 1992, an experience that enabled his to further develop his expertise in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

They were super nice and gave me prices before getting my wisdom teeth removed. They answered all my questions and walked me through the procedure I was getting. The receptionist didn't do anything extraordinary, but everyone in the back I came in contact with were sweet!

I had two broken teeth 3 yrs ago that required extraction (elsewhere). Was not looking forward to further dental surgery for implants. After two years decided to see Dr Flanagan. She explained the surgery and she and her staff were very caring and professional. The first one was fixed so well that I was actually looking forward to getting the second one fixed, which also went extremely well. Highly recommended! Michael Jeffirs OD

From the lady at the front desk to the ladies helping in the back to Dr Anderson... all of them were SO kind and comforting! My son had an accident at school and split his tongue needing emergency stitches. He was scared and they put him and I both at ease. I'm so grateful for all of them and the care they gave us. Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Anderson is so thoughtful and caring. He tells you exactly what is happening, what each sound is and frequently checks to make sure you are doing ok. Oral surgery isnt fun but I wouldnt trust anyone else.

I've been a patient of Dr. Flanagan since 2004 when I went to see her for the first time for removal of a broken molar. She was great. Since then I have been back about 3 more times for other teeth to be removed (I had a very overcrowded mouth). Each time I came, the staff was excellent, waiting times are short, and Dr. Flanagan has always done a wonderful job. I would recommend her to anyone needing oral surgery.

Will absolutely recommend to ANYONE. I had all 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed by Dr Anderson. I struggled making a decision between local/anesthesia, and I may have been a bit difficult while deciding, but the staff was still wonderful, patient, and kind and they helped me decide with my best interest in mind. This was also done in a timely manner, and my cost was also lower than I thought. Thank you guys again!

WOW!! From the first phone call with the receptionists to seeing the assistants then doctor. They are the most friendly, understanding, and genuine staff you will meet. I saw a different oral surgeon for a consult on a very very painful wisdom tooth that hurt terribly and needed to come out ASAP. It was an awful experience and I left in tears. Called Dr.Andersons office the next morning after a referral from a friend to see if there was anyway they could pull it that same day. They accommodated me and could not have been nicer about my nerves over the phone she went as far to say if I'm scared she would come back and hold my hand(that is phenomenal bedside manner) . It made me comfortable enough to get to the office and get it pulled. Once I got there they were so kind, the assistant was so understanding and calming. She explained what I wanted to know about and didn't tell me about things I didn't want to hear! Once I met Dr. Anderson my nerves were put at ease. He is hilarious, goes out of his way to make you feel okay about the procedure, and he takes his time. If you are terrified of dental procedures or simply want a great dental experience this is the place! I'm not even hesitant to get my other three pulled after that visit. Dr. Denise was amazing! Heather was also amazing!! I went in to have a broken tooth pulled and I am terrified of the dentist. They did everything to help with my anxiety and ease my fears. They put my previous medical conditions first during my treatment. Heather had her own patients but stepped in for a moment to help out before the procedure started. While she was in there she was so calming, that I asked her to stay and she did. That made a huge difference for me. I am so grateful for every person in that office that I had contact with. I called a few days later with questions and they were very helpful over the phone as well. I would highly recommend this office!!

Dr Anderson was PHENOMINAL!!! I came to see him after an extraction of a failed root canal that had been badly infected. He did a thorough examination, explained everything in detail, and didn't rush the consultation. He knew exactly what was going on and how to treat the infection. He got me on the right doses of medication and totally understood the extreme pain I had been in. I feel so much more at ease now that I've seen him! So pleased with his thorough, compassionate care!!!

I have very high anxiety with dental procedures. Dr. Anderson and his wonderful assistants made me feel so at ease and it went so fast. Also price I paid was less then quoted! Wonderful staff! Will definitely return if I need to in the future!
