Anytime dealing with oral surgery is not fun, but this place made it quick and pretty much painless. I had to have oral surgery without being put under. Other than the inital poke from the novacaine, I didn't feel a thing. I highly recommend and would go back if I ever need to again.

I came in yesterday to get my wisdom teeth removed. The staff was so great!! Hailey and Katie did an awesome job calming my nerves! Thank you! Already feeling much better :)

My experience was basically excellent. Great staff, safe and clean environment. My only complaint is ongoing pain. It's the weekend after my surgery. I have a medical issue (letter on file from my Bariatric surgeon) that prevents me from taking OTC anti-inflammatory med and emergency on-call Dr cannot help with something stronger. I understand the narcotic crisis in the world and limitations, however it leaves people in pain, who are not addicts, IN PAIN.

Had a wonderful experience with Dr Scotland and staff! Everyone was very professional, and welcoming! Dr Scotland was very thorough with explaining procedure and aftercare. Nursing staff is very caring, and able to answer all my questions! Reception staff was also wonderful! Thank you for the great care! Would recommend to all our friends and family!

Actually, this post is for my wife, Carol, who was the patient. Here is how she described her experience: I had oral surgery on January 28th. My initial discussion with Dr. Varland eased my fears. He answered all my questions so that I could be better prepared for the experience. I appreciated his kind demeanor. The day of surgery Diana was a blessing. I was nervous and her kind, professional presence was calming and reassuring. She explained everything that she would do as well as what I would experience and I very much appreciated that. Thank you, Diana, for making a possibly unpleasant experience bearable. Brendan's follow up call the next day was informative and reassuring. He, also, took time to answer any questions or concerns I had. Thank you all very much. Carol Banker.

Wonderful place! Highly recommended. I was so afraid to have my tooth extracted. Everyone there from receptionist, to x-ray tech, to assistants, to the Dr...everyone was amazing! They did their best to calm me down and they were thorough and fast to get me out of there, without making me feel like they were rushing. They knew I was scared and were so understanding and just plain awesome. Highly, HIGHLY recommended!

What an amazing experience! Besides the numbing shots, I had zero after surgery pain. Didn't even need ibuprofen or Tylenol. Great people, I don't know what the world would do without you thanks for everything!

My son had a positive experience getting his wisdom teeth pulled - Staff were professional as was the doctor, the procedure was explained well, and we received thorough instructions about aftercare. Everyone was kind and helpful. I'd highly recommend Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Associates.
