The doctor and staff are great. It's the billing that's unclear and questionable. The way the bill reads...I got sedated 3 times at the same visit. I feel like there should only be 1 sedation charge since I am only 1 deeply sedated patient. 1 IV sedation, multiple extractions is how it SHOULD read. Shopping around since I need all of my teeth extracted now and can't afford per tooth sedation charges making it $391 per tooth.

I was given a referral to here from my general dentist to get my wisdom teeth removed. When I initially called it was wonderful. Since he was booked out quite a ways, almost 2 months, they scheduled both my consultation and my surgery dates. I had asked for a Friday, due to not having much time off at my job. A week before my appointment, I received a call that I would need to reschedule because the Dr. would be out of town. I was given one option, the Wednesday before my original date. When I said I couldn't do that, and asked when the next available Friday appointment was, I got nothing but attitude. Now, I wasn't happily chatting during this call because this was a huge inconvenience, and I'm sure she had to listen to the same reasons from everyone who was being rescheduled too. But instead of being understanding, I was told that "I would just need to tell my employer that I was rescheduled" and "they couldn't do anything for me if the surgeon wasn't there." I was honestly shocked at how unprofessional it was handled. It's a week before, I had everything set up for that day, waited almost 2 months and I was treated like I inconvenienced her because the one time I was told they made available didn't work. I understand things happen and they needed to reschedule, but this was handled so poorly. Instead of working with me, I was told I could be put on a short list, which would given me no notice or be booked out another month. You called me to reschedule, why weren't there a couple dates to choose from? I was pretty upset after the call. I gave my general Dentist a call and told them what happened, they were shocked as well. They have another oral surgeon that they refer to. They were able to get me an appointment for the same day I was scheduled here, which I am incredibly grateful for.

@Jack sonol i think you have the wrong Dr because were in CO and your in FL we have no record of you as a patient

Procedure went okay, but after that it was a nightmare. The way they do their billing is needlessly convoluted and extremely unprofessional. They forced me to give them all of my money the day of my procedure and gave me a bill that didn't add up correctly, forcing me to take time off work multiple times to sort out their mess. Both times I spoke with office employees they were extremely rude and condescending while offering vague explanations and excuses. It made an already stressful time even worse than it needed to be.

Dr Johnson is the best. The office is very friendly. I went in to have some grafting done for an implant. After waiting three months for the grafting to take he told me he could put the the implant in but he felt it would be better to do more grafting and let it work to insure the implant had a stronger base. While I was disappointed in the additional wait it is very refreshing to find a doctor that puts perfection and doing the job the best way over a quick fix. He is a perfectionist in the work he does. I would use him again.

Well, they did a good job. But this last bottom wisdom tooth at 67 years old was pretty bad so I felt the pressure on the pull. I wish I had a prescription for antibiotics instead of pain-killers because the infection 4 days later and especially 6 days later was unbearable. Another time antibiotics worked and I did not want to take the pain-killers this time.

Just had a procedure. First time seeing the doctor. He is so personable, gives lots of information, and careful with pain levels. I highly recommend him!
