Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Group - General dentist in Branson, MO

Our front office staff is highly trained in meeting the needs of our patients. Our insurance and financial department is educated in insurance claim coding and filing specific to the oral surgery practice. All of our front office staff is cross-trained and many started out their careers at OMS as assistants that gives them more of an insight into the frustrations that our patients face when dealing with insurance companies and finances, and the fear and anxiety that some patients feel. They are very compassionate and caring and will make every effort to help find a resolution to the problems faced when dealing with insurance companies.

Each doctor has a team of assistants that help him with his daily schedule. All of our surgical assistants have completed and passed the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Anesthesia Assistants Program and have IV Certification for our facility. They have annual medical emergency training as well as quarterly emergency procedure reviews.

Our recovery room is staffed with senior assistants and three registered nurses. They care for our patients after a surgical procedure that involves IV sedation (20 minutes minimum time spent in our recovery room). They also give after care instructions to the patients driver, making sure that they know how to care for you when you get home.

OMS has a nurse on call that takes all of our post-operative calls. She is our on-the-phone advocate between the patient and doctor and is very helpful with information when you have a question or need.

Incredibly expensive and rigid, not willing to work with Clients.

I have had several teeth extracted from here and both of my daughters have also been patients here. I have recommended this place over and over again. All of the Doctors and staff are so friendly and professional. They actually care about you. They don't just treat you like a number or a paycheck. They take their time and answer any and all questions, no matter how silly that question may be, they are just awesome. I have chosen them for years now. I am a former Dental Assistant, so for me to LOVE this place, that says a lot. It takes a lot to impress me. Hehe

Just had my second extraction at OMS/Branson on July 30, 2020. Both appointments were with Dr. Arquitt; knocked out both times and hardly noticed the wee little stick of the IV needle by the wonderfully trained hands of Pam. Both extractions had bone grafts. Both visits were exceptional: professional, caring, organized and efficient. And there were extensive CoVid precautions in place when I arrived for my latest procedure. I received a post-operation phone call the day after surgery to check on my recovery and a CoVid phone call three days after surgery to check on any new symptoms I might have. (None, thank you.) If there are any additional extractions in my future, my first preference will be with Dr. Arquitt at OMS.

I had 3 extractions in 2017 and had Dr. Gibson. He was very kind and cared about my needs. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. Everything went well and I healed quickly.

Very professional, clean, and clear about what was going to happen. Staff was very friendly and answered all of my questions. I was able to meet Dr. McNaught before and he was very informative, gentle, and professional. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Pricing was very fair for the work I had done, and I was in and out in no time. I experienced no pain or discomfort the entire time. It is now 4 hours after discharge and I still experiencing no pain or discomfort of any kind. HIGHLY recommended.

Very painful, there was no need to hurry but he did and I felt every shot. I would not recommend OMS to anyone. Cost to much and real bad service.

Worst experience ever! Dr Collins has NO bedside manner. These people only care about taking your money! BEWARE! Sloppy work!

Dr. Collins is the worst. I, personally wouldn't go to this clinic for anything ever again. Find a dentist that treats you like a person and understands your expectations. The extraction done at OMS was the worst I've ever had. I found another dentist, and I'm so much happier!
