He is from Laguna Niguel, CA. He received his Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell Biology in 2007 from UCLA. Dr. Farshidi then attended Dental School at UCLA where he received his D.D.S in 2011. Following dental school, Dr. Farshidi moved to Hartford, CT to attend his Surgical residency at the prestigious Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) program at the University of Connecticut.
In addition, Dr. Farshidi has also completed 2 years of General Surgery training and 4 months of Anesthesia training. He also served as Chief Resident during his last year of residency and received his M.D. from UCONN in 2013. Dr. Farshidi is eligible to be a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Farshidi is trained in a wide range of advanced specialty cases in full-scope oral surgery. His expertise includes orthognathic procedures, temporomandibular joint surgery, cleft, and craniofacial surgery, major head and neck trauma, general anesthesia/IV sedation, dental implants, and bone grafts, dental alveolar surgery, full arch fixed reconstruction, all-on-four, teeth-in-a-day, and treatment of wisdom teeth.
Dr. Farshidi currently lives in Laguna Niguel with his wife, Sanam, who is a California native and works in advertising. In their free time, Dr. Farshidi and his wife enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with their friends and family.
After completing his predental requirements at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, Dr. Braun earned his dental degree from Marquette University, in Milwaukee, where he distinguished himself by graduating cum laude. He completed his advanced residency training at V.A. Hospitals in both Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Long Beach, California.
Dr. Braun started his private practice in Orange, California in 1977, and opened a second office in Tustin. In 1981 he was Board Certified by The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Brauns professional affiliations include The American Dental Association, The California Dental Association, Orange County Dental Society, The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is affiliated with Childrens Hospital of Orange County, St. Josephs Hospital in Orange, CA and La Veta Surgical Center in Orange, CA. Dr. Braun is also certified by the state of California to administer anesthesia in our office outpatient facilities.

I cannot express how satisfied I am and able to find an amazing Oral Surgeon for my Daughter. We have struggled to get a Dr. for her due to her anxiety. She did ver good during surgery. The Staff is amazing also. THANK YOU!!

Dr. Farshidi was the oral surgeon that came once a month to my dentist office. He was pulling two molars of mine but something went wrong and he removed the entire upper right of my mouth up to my sinuses. He has never told me why. This affected my life terribly . It left my face looking completely different. I can't speak correctly and have trouble eating. I have tried to contact him numerous times because he told me to find a dentist to make a partial denture but I have been to 11 dentists since this incident but nobody will touch it but they all crowd around to look at it. My quality of life was taken from me and he will not acknowledge or help me. I am 52 and had a beautiful smile until that day. Shameful. Be careful.

Dr Farshidi and his Staff to the rescue again! My son had his four wisdom teeth extracted and the procedure went as smooth as when my daughter got her procedure done by Dr Farshidi! The experience again: Jennifer, Erin, Shehan were so nice and caring... the procedure was so fast= Dr Farshidi is so good! The recovery was so perfect! We're still blown-away because of all the tales of pain, swelling, and discomfort? But, no swelling, followed all the post-surgery instructions and ALL WENT WELL! To be honest, my son was scared about getting his wisdom teeth out because all the stories but now, he's like "I can take them out again!" Too bad, no more wisdom teeth to take out! (Lol) So for those that have to get their wisdoms extracted, I completely recommend Oral and Maxillofacial and Dr. Farshidi!!! You will be in good hands... Thank you for all you do!!!

From the reception to the nurses to Dr Farshidi, they did a great job of making me feel comfortable every step of the way. They're very straightforward from the beginning and willing to answer any questions you have to leave no doubt that you're in good hands. Procedure went smooth, I was in and out in what I felt like 5 minutes. Dr. Farshidi even personally called me later that same evening to see how I was feeling which I greatly appreciated. They did a great job on my wisdom tooth extraction had me feeling full strength again by the end of the week. Highly recommend if you need this procedure done.

Extremely professional doctors and staff. Jennifer knows how to speak both English and Chinese which was a huge help. She helped us translate and calmed down some feelings of anxiety before our surgery and even offered her personal number. Dr. Farshidi was also very professional and called me on his personal care phone to ask how I was doing. Wouldn't recommend anywhere else. If you're feeling nervous about anything the staff is very helpful and explains everything in detail. I will be recommending this place to every one of my friends and family.

I really enjoyed coming into Dr. Farzin's office. Not only is the staff there amazing at welcoming you even when you're a new patient but the Dr himself is a very amazing Dentist. He is very detailed when explaining the procedures and makes sure you're fully aware of everything being done before it's done. Would highly recommend coming here and most definitely will be the place i return to ! ((:

Dr. Farshidi, Jennifer, and the front desk are AMAZING. I couldn't express how satisfied and happy I am that I came here to get 2 extractions. I had ONE extraction elsewhere and it was the most painful and traumatic experience for me that I pushed these two extractions off for so long even though it was painfully bothering me. My younger sister came and got 3 extracted here and on day one, she seemed to be fine and I was confused because it was nothing like my first experience at a different place. After seeing how fast and pain free her recovery was, I didn't second think it and automatically made an appointment to see Dr. Farshidi. BEST DECISION I'VE EVER MADE. I'm actually writing this 1 week post-op in front of their office lol but I really didn't want to forget. If you've been scared and putting off your extractions like I did, look no further, Dr. Farshidi is the one!! Trust me, I have such a low pain tolerance and I didn't have to take any pain meds. Thank you Dr. Farshidi!! 10/10 recommend!

Was anxious about having my wisdom teeth removed, however everyone here was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Doc said I had 5% chance of having numbing in my lip due to a close nerve but I feel fine post-surgery. I actually feel a ton, ton better than I thought I would, I'm very happy to have come here, 8/8 great would recommend.

Last week I had an infected wisdom tooth that I really needed out due to the pain I was enduring for close to 3 days prior. It was unbearable. I got referred by my DDS at 9am. Called them and got an appointment for 10am.The place is really well kept inside and the people working there were very welcoming. The process to be a new patient there couldn't even be more easier. After xrays were taken and a consultation I was taken to the oral surgery room. I ended up having all 4 wisdom teeth taken out. The day AFTER my surgery I had ZERO pain in my mouth. Nothing at all. I was given pain medication but it wasn't even needed. I am very thankful to have been able to get a same day/surgery appointment ontop of not feeling any ill affects after the procedure. I would reccomend this place to anyone with an issue with their mouth. Great Dr. Great people, excellent work. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I'm 74 yrs old and terrified of dentists. From the moment I spoke to receptionist to the moment my procerdure was finished, I was treated like family and immediately put at ease. My situation was somewhat of an emergency and I was given an appt. the next day. It was painless, quick and professional. The entire staff was wonderful. Grateful I called them.

Dr farshidi and his staff are wonderful. I was referred to by my good friend and she was very happy with her result. I came to dr farshidi for an extraction gone wrong at another dentist. He was so gentle during the surgery that I was amazed how easy the procedure was. Let me tell you, it is much easier than getting a root canal done. He made me feel at ease and he even made me laugh during the surgery so I won't feel nervous. Keep up the sense of humor doctor! Even during my implant procedure he made me feel calm. Amazing, amazing. I loved my experience with him and his nice team. I will definetley go back . He is hands down the best surgeon. Thank you!
