I received an appt for 8am this morning. I received a text confirmation for the 8am appt. The office is over an hour away from my home. The front desk lady says oh your appt is next week. I said it was scheduled for today. I received a confirmation. She says I will have to speak to the office manager. She comes in at 8:30am. No apology rendered just no appt today and wait for the office manager.

They were amazing from the start. I needed to get my both bottom wisdom teeth extracted. The whole staff was very kind to me from the front desk ladies to the nurses and doctor. The day of my procedure I was a nervous wreck, I honestly have a big fear of dental work. But the nurses were comforting me and one gave me a hug. I just felt more at ease in their care. As soon as the IV medicine went in, I was out. Felt like I was out for 1 minute lol. The doctor called me to check up on me and let me know to call him if I had any issues. He has a gentle hand because my pain wasn't bad after the anesthesia wore off. I went to a different dentist for my top wisdom removal and those hurt bad. But these were a piece of cake even though everyone one told me the bottoms are the worst. Seriously go to this office! They will take good care of you!

I was seriously upset leaving this office. At first I was referred by my dentist to this practice to have my tooth extracted. I went in to have my initial consultation and at first I will say I was impressed, the front receptionist was amazing she was very nice and patient while I filled out paperwork and she helped me try to get a medical credit card. I say kudos to her for her service! Unfortunately though as I'm going through my consult I started to realize that not everyone in the office was as great at the receptionist. I was sitting in a room with 3 doctors standing over me which to me felt a little uncomfortable as there was chairs they could have sat in to talk to me, nothing was put in terms to my understanding even when asking questions, everything was almost a beat around the bush. It seemed as though they we're all money hungry to do the procedure and get paid then get out kind of ordeal. What ever happened to patient care? The biggest issue I had though is that this tooth extraction was somewhat an emergent procedure as I had an infection under my tooth. There was a possibility that I could have been pregnant at the time but it was too early to test of tell, I had made a note on the paperwork I filled out in the beginning, yet no one had seem to read that over because the assistant seemed very astonished when she asked if I was pregnant and I said maybe I'm not sure yet, I am young but as a doctor I've always expected my doctor's to not show any judgment on me as a patient. Yet I felt when I was sitting there with her, but what got to me the most is that most the surgeon and assistant asked me to go home that day and take a pregnancy test and to call back and tell them the results, which would be fine but I told them that it was too early to test and it would come back negative and they just kept telling me to go take one, and that if it was negative that they would do the procedure for me, which was an IV anesthesia for my tooth extraction. I understand that maybe under law they were covering their ass, but WHAT DOCTOR DOES THIS?!?!? Now I'm not stupid and if I was pregnant I was not going to put my baby in harm's way, seeing as the doctor that I was putting myself in their hands did not care. I'm sorry but there was no actual patient care here and I paid 60$ to feel ridiculed and upset for the fact that there are doctor's out there that are just in it for the money. Not for actually taking care of human beings the way the deserve to be taken care of when they are coming to you for help. I'm still angry and upset and I highly HIGHLY suggest that NO ONE go to this facility for the fact that it seemed to me that all they wanted was my money. I'm not a very wealthy person either so the 60$ I spent for a consult to be looked at different and felt like no one actually cared about my position really took a toll on me. As for after this I called around to find someone else to help with my tooth issue and I found an amazing dentist who saved my tooth and worked with me as a patient with the situation I had going on at the time and took EVERYTHING into consideration. They made a specific plan for my situation and followed through and I felt like they actually listened to everything I said. Again. Highly recommended that you call and look around before going here cause I wasted my money that I barely had to feel ridiculed and disrespected.

I can not say enough good things about this office and Dr. Dillard! I was going to have to wait two weeks just to get an appointment at all of the other oral surgeons in town, but Dr. Dillard's office got me in super quickly and they were extremely nice! I will be recommending them everyone I know!

Excellent customer service! I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed here at once. They explained the entire procedure to me before I decided to go ahead and have the surgery. The staff was extremely professional and made sure that I was comfortable the entire time. I would recommend this office to anyone! I was also impressed with how clean the office and operating room was!

Dr. Dillard and staff are really great! I have had headaches that caused more discomfort than this tooth extraction. I needed a baby tooth that was fused to the bone jawbone removed for a dental implant. I have had no bruising, discomfort or complications. I recommend Dr. Dillard to anyone who needs major or extensive dental surgery. Both the Mount Pleasant and West Ashley locations are top notch medical facilities.
