Dr. Achong is a member of local, state, and national organizations and continues to bring the latest advancements in technology to his practice by participating in regular continuing education. He is a Diplomate of the American Dental Society of Anesthesia. Furthermore, he is board certified by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association and Florida Dental Association. Dr. Achong holds active dental and medical licenses in the State of Florida and holds dental licenses in New Hampshire and Canada.

Dr. Latham is an Orlando native who is passionate about providing the best treatment and care to the community and his patients. In addition to earning his bachelors degree from the University of Florida, he also earned hisDental Degree (DMD)from UF College of Dentistry. After completing medical school and a six-year surgical residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, Dr. Latham returned home to Florida in 2014.
While at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Latham received extensive surgical training in dentoalveolar surgery (including wisdom tooth removal and a full range of dental implant procedures), corrective jaw (orthognathic) surgery, office-based anesthesia, bone grafting, facial trauma, oral and facial pathology, and TMJ procedures. During residency, Dr. Latham trained under the nations top-ranked anesthesia department as well as with renowned experts in head and neck cancer. Most importantly, Dr. Latham was trained with the values of Mayo Clinic, including putting the needs of the patient first.
Dr. Latham is an active member of the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, American Medical Association, Florida Dental Association, and Central Florida District Dental Association.
In his free time, Dr. Latham enjoys running, tennis, soccer, and spending time with family and friends. He is an avid fan of UF athletics and Orlando City Soccer Club. He is happily married to his wife, Allison, and they are blessed to have a son.

Can't recommend Dr. Achong enough!! He removed 3 of my impacted wisdom teeth last week under IV sedation. I was quite nervous for the sedation, but it truly was a breeze. I experienced very minimal pain afterwards, even without medication. and less than 2 weeks later i am almost completely healed! The relief I felt from having them out was immediate and so worth it though! If I had to do it all over again i would, as long as Dr Achong is my surgeon :-) I'll definitely be going to Oral Facial Surgical Arts for any future needs i may have! and thank you as well to the amazing nurses and front desk staff for all that you do!

I had an extraction yesterday, from the moment I walked the front desk staff were very nice to me, his assistant was really sweet and Dr. Latham was great. I would highly recommend him. As a retired medical office administrator I usually find something to nitpick, but not a thing here..

Beware: While doctors can over bill this doctor will not refund your money, we have been trying to get our money for months, Dr. Achongs office has owed us $500 for months and has been telling us every month they send out checks at the end of the month. To this day, we have not been refunded the money they say they will send to us.

The doctors are great the staff is friendly the only little thing that bothered me was that in my visit I had to get out my credit card 3 times, would've been nice just to wait till the end of the appointment and do it once.

Generally it was good. It's just for me, there's little bit of distance to get there. But at the office, it was real good.all the staff were kind and helpful.now, I have one more trip there left yet. Trying to change my life back to 20years ago. Bringing my youth back. Hope to be there one more time to do the main work. And soon. Even though it scares the heck of me, Just wish it'll get here and over with.
