Dr. Holm's was wonderful. He is very passionate and patient with his patient and the parents. We have a special needs daughter and had to have her wisdom teeth removed in the hospital. He did a super great job. Highly recommended him.

I'm really impressed by the procedures and the care given to my wife. She has had 2 surgeries performed by Dr. Cordova now and it is very evident he cares and he is excellent at what he does. Bedside manner and after care are great and direct line for questions if need be. Keep it up folks!

They made me sit in the waiting room for over an hour before they saw me. Then Dr. Cordova dug around in my mouth with his fingernails, leaving painful scratches. I felt unheard and violated. Then they charged me $100.00 for the appointment after all of that, and when I told them how terrible it was and that I refused to pay, they sent it to collections. Worst healthcare experience ever.

Had all four wisdom teeth extracted this morning. I am terrified of needles and I barley even felt the needle for my sedation!!! The nurses came in and made nice conversation while I was going down! Very sweet nurses. ABSOLUTELY the BEST experience at a dentist I've ever experience. I highly recommend going here!!!

Simply amazed! Was referred to get my wisdom teeth out by my dentist, so I scheduled an appointment for consultation. Went in, staff was very kind. The consultation is very thorough and they go over charges up front. Nothing hidden. Prices are pretty reasonable too. Got scheduled, and went in that morning and 45 minutes later I was done. Dr. Cordova wasted no time and it was pain free. I can't remember the names of the ladies who got me prepped, but they were so sweet throughout the whole thing. They send you home with good directions and a goodie bag for aftercare. Would absolutely recommend them and would go back.

I was referred to Oral & Facial Surgery. I am very grateful for Dr. Holm and all the staff there, and I would like to say thank you to all of you. From my consultation to my wisdom teeth extractions, they have been super friendly and helpful. All instructions and discussions on prices are made clear. I highly recommend this place. I have dental phobia, so they have helped me in my journey of conquering my fear. You are in good hands here.

I went into the clinic with a lot of discomfort due to a wisdom tooth that had come in. It was in such a position that we were able to remove it the same day. The tech. was knowledgeable and let me have a look at my x-rays. The dental assistant was very kind; she not only knew what she was doing, but stayed in the room with me while I was numbing up. That's good, because like many out there, I'm a little afraid of dental work. The doc came into the room and was very respectful--called me sir, which is a nice touch. Makes you feel valued. They had the tray set up and once I was numb, the doc leaned over with some tools and loosened the tooth a bit. There was some pressure. I thought, uh-oh, here we go.... He put his tools down and I thought he was reaching for another set of tools, but no; he turned around, gave me a pat on the shoulder, and said I was done. What!? It took all of three seconds to get that tooth out. He was so talented that all I felt was a little bit of pressure. I spent more time numbing up then I did during the actual procedure. I imagine that, since this is so, this surgeon would be very good while in surgery. If I ever need my other wisdom tooth out, this is where I'll go. They had a lady from their financial department come in before the procedure and explain the cost to me. This is important, because if you're like me and on a strict budget, they don't hide anything from you, or tack on costs later. It's strictly about what they charge, what insurance might cover, and the different ways you can pay. I don't like clinics that don't talk about the costs until after your procedure. This clinic does it right, talking to you about it beforehand. The front desk was cool about everything and they called I think twice after my procedure; they also made sure that I knew that I could call the clinic or the doc as needed, at any time. Now that is service! They are very good about sending you home with instructions on how to care for your healing gums. I had no problems. I followed their simple instructions and hardly needed anything more than some Advil on the first day home. All in all, and long story short, this is a great place to go. I recommend it.

I am pretty relaxed about dental visits. However, this place gave me chills (literally). My dentist referred me to this practice for an extraction and implant. He has seen good reconstructive work by its surgeons. Also, they have a near-monopoly. He didn't want me to take a chance on an practitioner he couldn't personally vouch for, though I was willing to go to Spokane or Coeur D'Alene in order to get the best care possible. I have no comment about Dr. Holm, as I just had the extraction Friday. He does instruct his staff to refer to extractions as "slipping the tooth out." Because I requested nitrous oxide, for the express purpose of dulling my pain and fear of having an IV started for sedation, he referred me to his Lewiston office. Thus, this review pertains to the Lewiston office of this practice. The techs did not know how to work with nitrous. They used a poorly fitting mask, then switched it to one that fit better, but the gas did not take effect as quickly as it should have. When they started trying to place the IV, it was very painful. I have small veins, and had asked them to use a warm compress on my hand to help the veins become more obvious. They didn't, instead resorting to some trial and error and discussing what gauge needle to use. FInally they brought in a third tech. The gas, if administered properly, would have had me high and relaxed within one or two minutes They only turned up the concentration when the IV was finally placed. After my procedure, I woke up shivering profusely. Nobody offered me a blanket, and they ignored my repeated requests to have my coat put over my legs. They gave me 2 Advil (!) for the severe pain I complained of, and told me they were sending a hydrocodone prescription over to my pharmacy, which is in Moscow, 30 miles away. When I went to pick it up, the pharmacy had no record of it. The pharmacist told me that type of prescription needs to be hand delivered. The techs did put a written prescription in my handbag, but did not tell me they had done so. The last issue is that they would not do the procedure unless there was someone in the office waiting for me throughout the procedure. This was not for safety--they could have called my friend to pick me up. They needed someone wide awake who could competently approve/sign for the final bill using a credit card or check. They did not even have wifi in their waiting room. A bigger issue was their policy of asking a third party to use a patient's credit or debit card to make a large payment. They figured I would not be in a fit state coming out of anesthesia to pay for my own procedure. DId some patient try to get out of their contract for services by pleading lack of capacity? This sort of issue belongs on the bar exam. Not in my life or my health care. This office has the worst and scariest customer service I have ever encountered in a medical setting. Stay away.
