Dr. Hasnain Shinwari developed interest in dentistry at an early age, and completed his dental education with a distinction. He was part of the team at the UCLA Weintraub Research Center that invented ground breaking technology in dental implantology and osseointegration. He then received further training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston University where he was trained at both Boston Medical Center and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Shinwari enjoys the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and has special interest in Dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, office based anesthesiology and cosmetic procedures. He is also proficient in pathology/reconstructive surgery, TMJ surgery, orthognathic surgery and Facial Trauma.

Dr. Shinwari and his staff are very professional, attentive, and good at what they do. Kaley at the front desk was always friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Shinwari is very committed to your health and giving you a beautiful end result. Dental surgery is never a fun or enjoyable thing, but this team makes sure it is as easy and smooth as possible. I absolutely recommend them.

Dr. Shinwari does really great work, he and everyone that works at this practice is amazing. I've had three implants done and the experience could not have been better each time. I look forward to going back to see Dr. Shinwari for any future work i need done. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I needed to get my wisdom teeth removed, & I was super nervous, but they made everything super easy. Got my consultation and removal done within 1 week, so it was super fast. On top of that, the procedure was fast & painless. Woke up feeling great lol.

My daughter had all four of her wisdom teeth removed. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The office was bright and clean and the doctor was great! The procedure went smoothly and my daughter's recovery time was very quick. This office will be my choice for all future oral surgeries. 5 stars!

Overall, I had a great experience when my wisdom teeth needed to be extracted. Staff was very informative, caring, and helpful during the procedure. Extraction went smoothly and the recovery was quick. I would definitely recommend Oral & Facial Surgery Center of Virginia.

I enjoyed the entire experience with my 2 teenage kids. My daughter had 4 wisdom teeth removed in May 2022 and my son in July 2022 had 4 wisdom and 2 molars removed. The staff was very kind and informative. Dr Shinwari was amazing and knowledgeable. We went home with proper information. The office is very clean. My teens healed fast and loves coming back.
