Dr. Michael W. Golding was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Virginia Tech University. He went on to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore, MD, where he not only received his degree, but also graduated at the top of his class. Upon receiving his degree, he completed a residency at University of Miami Medical School and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. During his residency, he was the Chief Resident and was granted the Professors Cup as the most outstanding resident of his class. Furthermore, he was recognized with the Most Outstanding Surgical Skills Award by the professors of the University of Miami. Multiple times throughout his residency, Dr. Golding was also involved in surgical cases showcased on Discovery Channel, The Today Show, and The Doctors.
Dr. Golding performs all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with specialized interest and experience in All-on-4 teeth in a day, wisdom teeth removal, advanced bone grafting techniques, implant placement,orthognathic jaw surgery and facial cosmetic surgery. His talents and expertise in these areas allow him to provide his patients with optimal comfort, safety and convenience. Dr. Golding is also on staff and surgically manages the facial trauma and reconstruction within the Level 1 trauma centers for both the Banner Healthcare System and Chandler Regional Hospital.
He is board certified with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Fellow in the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Golding is also proud to be on the Phoenix Suns Dental Team as the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon of the Phoenix Suns. Additionally, he is a member of philanthropic organizations, including The Phoenix Thunderbirds and The Executive Council 70, both of which fundraise to improve the lives of the underprivileged in Arizona.
Dr. Golding is happily married to his wife Laura, who is an Arizona native and graduate of Arizona State University. Theyve welcomed two young children, Olivia and William. During his spare time, Dr. Golding enjoys being with his family, traveling, running, and playing golf.
A friend that had seen how ill I had become started doing research and found an article regarding Dr. Golding for the Discovery channel. I met with Dr. Golding and from beginning I liked how positive and confident he was and how he carefully listened to me as I explained my symptoms. He did a CT scan on my first visit and was very confident he knew right away what the issue might be. We scheduled surgery and within 8 weeks of that surgery my symptoms were slowly getting better and he was able to schedule a second surgery to put in the implant posts, I just finished with my crowns this week and everything is perfect.
Dr. J. Gregory Sabol was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received both his Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree. During dental school, Dr. Sabol used his degree in Molecular Genetics to be involved with skeletal jaw and facial development research. Upon completing dental school, he completed a one-year General Practice Residency at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. Once he finished his General Practice Residency, he moved to Nashville, TN to attend Vanderbilt University Medical School for six more years of further training. Dr. Sabol received a year internship in General Surgery, specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, as well as his Medical Degree from Vanderbilt University Medical School.
Since moving to Phoenix in 2006, Dr. Sabol has been proud to call it his home. He teaches the Oral and Maxillofacial Residents in the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency and holds medical staff privileges at Banner University Medical Center, Phoenix Childrens Hospital, and the Scottsdale Healthcare System. He is on-call for the Level 1 trauma service at University of Arizona College of Medicine and Banner University to repair and reconstruct some of the worst facial surgeries in the region. Dr. Sabol is also on the Council of Dental Education and is politically active in the Arizona Dental Association.
Having Dr. Sabol care for my teenage daughter was the best choice we could have made . He is extremely professional, an expertise in his field and his bedside manner was amazing and calmed even the most anxious teen and parents ! Thank you to Dr Sabol and the staff at The Piper Center for making a difficult and painful procedure almost seamless.
While he practices all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, his professional interests include: dental implant placement (including the Teeth in a Day technique), corrective skeletal jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery), wisdom tooth removal, patient anesthesia, cosmetic eye procedures, maxillofacial trauma, and surgery for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Sabol is board certified in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and by the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. Phoenix Magazine has named him a Top Dentist eight years in a row. Dr. Sabol realizes that patients and their families may be anxious about surgical treatments, so he is eager to put both the patient and the family at ease. He also takes pride in his patient care and personal interactions with patients.
In his spare time Dr. Sabol enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, hiking, fishing, traveling, and golfing. He is an avid runner and enjoys competitive racing a passion that has stayed with him from his years as a varsity track and cross country athlete at The Ohio State University.

Wish I could give 10 stars. The most honest, kind staff from the front of the house to the doctors and nurses in the back. My son was five when he had to have an oral surgery and will have to have several more and we will never go anywhere else. Truly top notch care.

I'm so thankful that I went to OFSA instead of a general dentist. Dr Sabol removed my very decayed molar without any pain or discomfort, amazing!!! I've had a lot of dental work over the years and this was the best experience I've ever had! Dr Sabol and his assistant Hannah were so nice. They explained the procedure ahead of time and let me know what to expect with each step. They really made me feel at ease and I'm actually looking forward to getting my implant.

Having been front office in dental practice for 26 years I am deeply familiar with Dr Sabol. Our office started referring our patients to Dr Sabol. In all of those years our patients were always pleased and I never had any negative feedback. Quite a feat! Referrals were a regular occurrence in a busy practice. I now have had direct hands on experience with Dr Sabol. He not only has expertise, and is gentle, but to me it is equally important to know that he has qualities that I admire as a human being, which a Dr can have skill but be arrogant and self serving. Dr Sabol has proven to me over the years his true colors.His staff all are so kind and attentive. That was impressive! If you are looking for any procedure that requires a oral surgeon you cannot go wrong with this choice.

Everyone was so kind to me even though I had a lot of anxiety, it was my first time having a medical procedure like this and Hannah and Kelly were so so kind and supportive with me, and Dr. Sabol was super great during the consult and the surgery. Wow !! Walk into the reception area and all 3 at the desk say "Hello" with huge smiles a great start ... Wow !! Everything and everybody on time ... Wow !!! The Doctor is not rushed AND he answers questions in a way that can be understood ... Great experience ... I'm scheduled for a fairly involved procedure in a few weeks ... Will do the follow up ... Had a tooth coming out...at 58 yo! It had to be removed because I wear an upper denture. Was a little nervous bc I just had the shot for numbness. That was the worst part of it...but not too bad. Didn't feel the tooth being pulled out. Was out of there in 10 minutes. Highly recommend Oral & Facial Surgeons of AZ! Great staff as well!

My teen daughter had to have a wisdom tooth removed. Dr. Sabol and the entire team were absolutely wonderful. They made me and my daughter feel at ease, and the process was super quick. Dr. Fukami was also wonderful!

Before being at Oral & Facial Surgeons I had the worse experiences ever. I got different diagnostic and possible treatments before being referenced to Dr Gregory Sable and I was told that needed very traumatic surgery and I was unable to sleep waiting for a specialist appointment to get an accurate diagnosis. Well, I want to share the great experience I had with Oral & Facial Surgeons and the amazing team. From my first phone call until my appointment date I was attended in a professional, kind, and human manner. I can tell that all staff is knowledgeable and everyone takes time to answer every question/concern regarding the topic. I dropped off my stress as soon as I got to the front desk and being in the room waiting for the doctor was peaceful. The doctor's assistant was such an angel calming me down and explaining every single question I had. Dr. Sable gave me an accurate, wise, and professional diagnostic that I had been waiting for and explained in a clear understanding every detail of my condition, Everyone in the clinic made me feel that I was in good hands and without a doubt in the right place. I do not wish any sickness on anyone else but it's life and I can recommend 100 % Dr. Sable and his staff you will never be in better hands. I'm happy that I did not need any surgery or a follow-up appointment but I definitely will stop by the office to say thank you again to such an amazing team.

Super quick and efficient, I had one surgically removed wisdom tooth. They made the process so easy and straightforward. I had sedation for it and have had minimal swelling and little to no pain, only have taken ibuprofen twice in 24 hours. Would definitely come here again for any type of oral surgery.

WARNING!!! Do not go to Oral & Facial Surgeons of Arizona for medical care. My experience with them was an absolute nightmare. They over-billed for more than my insurance co-pays and kept the difference rather than getting the claim paid and having to refund the difference. My question is, how many others are they scamming like this. They effectively bypassed the insurance contracted amounts by over-billing and then not submitting and completing a claim. They are supposed to be helping patients, not stealing from them. Shame on these people.

My consultation was at the Tempe office, and my surgery was at the Phoenix office. My review is my experience at both. The facility was beautiful ! The staff gave "Chick-fil-A" service, meaning... it was AMAZING & above average. I had so many questions and The staff answered every question with genuine patience. Hopefully I never have to go back (lol) but if I do I would be happy to go back there! Thank you to Dr. Sabol & staff, especially my anesthesiologist (My apologies, her name I can't recall). She made me feel comfortable, explained every step to me in detail & made me feel comfortable.
