Dr. Friedman is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The American College of Oral Implantology, The American Society of Osseointegration, and a member of the American Academy of Osseointegration. He is also a member of The International Society of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Friedman did his undergraduate training at the University of Miami and attended the Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry as well as the Graduate Basic Science School receiving both his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and Masters of Science Degree in Anatomy. He did his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Training at the University of North Carolina and completed his Residency Training at The University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1978. Dr. Friedman is on staff at many of the local hospitals in the community.
Dr. Friedman is a member of the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the South Florida Dental Association and many other of their affiliated local dental societies.
Dr. Friedman lectures on numerous topics involving complex dental implant surgery. He has been given permission to operate in many South American countries by their Ministers of Health. He is the developer of both the Hex Cylinder and Twist Lock Cylinder dental implant and has served on the board of advisors of many dental implant manufacturing companies worldwide.He is presently acting Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Memorial Hospital West as well as Westside Regional Medical Centers.

Dr. Payton is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He received a B.A. degree in Chemistry from Indiana University in 1981 and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1984, with distinction. He completed his residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Indiana University Hospital in 1988.
Dr. Payton is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and many local affiliated Dental Societies.
Dr. Payton has many areas of special surgical interests. He has extensive training and experience in the area of oral cancer and reconstructive surgery as well as tumors of the head and neck. Another field of surgical interest is Temporomandibular Joint Surgery (TMJ). He is a true pioneer in the field of TMJ arthroscopic surgery. He is one of the first to routinely perform in office TMJ surgery. He has done multiple open TMJ procedures as well as TMJ total joint replacement, when necessary. Along with these special interests, Dr. Payton also extracts impacted teeth, places implants, regenerates bone loss in the jaw using the latest technology (PRP & PRGF), just to name a few. Dr. Payton is on staff at many of the local hospitals in the community.
Dr. Payton is not only known for his expert surgical skills, but his warm, kind, and approachable bedside manner. He truly is an expert at putting a nervous patient at ease. He is the perfect combination of skill and humanity.
Dr. Luis Cardenas is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and The American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He received his dental degree from Javeriana University School of Dentistry in Bogot, Colombia in 1983 and completed his specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts in 1992. Additionally, Dr. Cardenas has completed two clinical and research fellowships in craniofacial and orthognathic surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry and Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He has trained and worked with several world-renowned oral and maxillofacial surgeons, giving him expertise in the area of major craniofacial reconstruction. Dr. Cardenas is on staff at many of the local hospitals in the community.
Dr. Cardenas is an associate professor at the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Cardenas's special surgical interests are in the fields of orthognathic, temporomandibular joint, cleft lip, and palate surgery. His advanced training in craniofacial surgery enables him to offer specialized treatments to patients with complex facial deformities.

Don't go here. They will tell you lies. Better off with another office. I should have listen to my gut. They over charge you, and try to go around the table to make you think your the problem. STAY AWAY!

Dr. Lopez and his entire staff are incredible! I was taken care of with the greatest of care when I had 2teeth extracted. The appointment staff was on top of things ... when I'd get to the desk she would have already checked with my insurance to make sure things were covered! Fast and efficient ! I also overheard her talking to an elderly patient and was so slow, caring and respectful to her making sure she understood everything! Very impressive! The day of my surgery the girls who cared for me were great! I can not say enough about my experience! The whole team is very professional and caring at the same time! They get a 10++ for sure! I also had to have a mouth guard for TMJ . Dr. Lopez sent me for physical therapy ( which I thought he was joking!) . I went for over 2 months and let me tell you it was the best! It made a huge difference and I would recommend it to those suffering! Dr. Lopez knows what he's doing!! Thank you to everyone! Ann Caraganis

I had an appt scheduled for my daughter and when I showed up to the office the office was locked. I had to call to tell them I was there and when they came to the door they told me the doctor had left for an emergency and that my appt was cancelled. I never received a message from the office trying to reschedule. They texted me to confirm my appt 2 times but they didn't bother to text me to let me know the doctor had an appt. Customer consideration and care is severely lacking.

Not only is the staff amazing and friendly. But Dr. Goldwaser was very detailed and clear about what was going to happen during my wisdom tooth removal. Even making sure that I did a follow up to make sure my recovery process went smooth. 100% recommend!

It's a scam. Dentist gives a referral to see him. He gives me a referral to see a dentist. Then says have the dentist give you a referral to see me. It's all a game. He knows I'm in pain, nothing, knows I need help, nothing. Dentist says I need him He says I need dentist. I can't even sleep at night it hurts so bad. I told him. I can't open one side he says get braces.

Made an appointment on Monday 05/16 for Wednesday 05/18. Filled out the documents request via website- they had it in the system. No confirmation call, because the app was not put in the system. The receptionist at the Coral Springs office, lost for words or solutions. Let me go very easily because that does take a thought process. Prime example of how good doctors lose patients or potential patients. Way to go

My experience was great! I have fears of dentist and Dr. Mederos was kind and understand to my fears. She explained everything to me so I would know what she will be doing. Dr. Mederos took the time to call me to see how I was feeling. How many doctors can you say do that? My nurse, Kristina, I loved her! She was always smiling, friendly, informative, also understanding. Everyone in the office was friendly. I would recommend them, no question. My only complaint is they are only oral surgeons and not dentists. Best side manners are important especially to patients like myself who have fears of dentist, maybe because of something that happened in the past. Dr. Mederos and her Staff, took care of me and I appreciate that more than they know.

I saw Dr Maderos for a problem in my mouth. A very delicate place which needed proper care. Dr Maderos was very thorough and explained the biopsy and everything during the consult. During the biopsy she was very careful and precise and always asking how I felt during the process. My recovery was painless. The results are coming along beautifully. She is an excellent and very precise surgeon. The staff was also excellent in helping me get ready for the process. Very happy patient.

Great experience with Dr. Mederos, getting all 4 wisdom teeth out. She's very nice and me feel comfortable about the procedure. Even called to check up afterwards and make sure everything was going well and the assistants were awesome as well. I highly recommend this place(especially dr. mederos) to anyone who needs work done or to get teeth pulled.

Was super anxious about getting my wisdom teeth pulled. Dr. Lopez and his team made my entire process SO EASY & AMAZING! I kid you not.. no swelling afterwards, no infections, and no pain! Highly suggest this team when it comes to removal of any teeth!
