Dr. Friedman is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The American College of Oral Implantology, The American Society of Osseointegration, and a member of the American Academy of Osseointegration. He is also a member of The International Society of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Friedman did his undergraduate training at the University of Miami and attended the Medical College of Virginia, School of Dentistry as well as the Graduate Basic Science School receiving both his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree and Masters of Science Degree in Anatomy. He did his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Training at the University of North Carolina and completed his Residency Training at The University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1978. Dr. Friedman is on staff at many of the local hospitals in the community.
Dr. Friedman is a member of the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the South Florida Dental Association and many other of their affiliated local dental societies.
Dr. Friedman lectures on numerous topics involving complex dental implant surgery. He has been given permission to operate in many South American countries by their Ministers of Health. He is the developer of both the Hex Cylinder and Twist Lock Cylinder dental implant and has served on the board of advisors of many dental implant manufacturing companies worldwide.He is presently acting Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Memorial Hospital West as well as Westside Regional Medical Centers.

Dr. Payton is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He received a B.A. degree in Chemistry from Indiana University in 1981 and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1984, with distinction. He completed his residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Indiana University Hospital in 1988.
Dr. Payton is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and many local affiliated Dental Societies.
Dr. Payton has many areas of special surgical interests. He has extensive training and experience in the area of oral cancer and reconstructive surgery as well as tumors of the head and neck. Another field of surgical interest is Temporomandibular Joint Surgery (TMJ). He is a true pioneer in the field of TMJ arthroscopic surgery. He is one of the first to routinely perform in office TMJ surgery. He has done multiple open TMJ procedures as well as TMJ total joint replacement, when necessary. Along with these special interests, Dr. Payton also extracts impacted teeth, places implants, regenerates bone loss in the jaw using the latest technology (PRP & PRGF), just to name a few. Dr. Payton is on staff at many of the local hospitals in the community.
Dr. Payton is not only known for his expert surgical skills, but his warm, kind, and approachable bedside manner. He truly is an expert at putting a nervous patient at ease. He is the perfect combination of skill and humanity.
Dr. Luis Cardenas is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and The American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He received his dental degree from Javeriana University School of Dentistry in Bogot, Colombia in 1983 and completed his specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts in 1992. Additionally, Dr. Cardenas has completed two clinical and research fellowships in craniofacial and orthognathic surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry and Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He has trained and worked with several world-renowned oral and maxillofacial surgeons, giving him expertise in the area of major craniofacial reconstruction. Dr. Cardenas is on staff at many of the local hospitals in the community.
Dr. Cardenas is an associate professor at the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Cardenas's special surgical interests are in the fields of orthognathic, temporomandibular joint, cleft lip, and palate surgery. His advanced training in craniofacial surgery enables him to offer specialized treatments to patients with complex facial deformities.

Excellent experience. Very professional staff and clean establishment. Very impressed with Dr. Goldwaser, I was very comfortable and in no pain, and her team is punctual, amazing, and extremely professional. Going to the dentist for me it's very scary, trying to find my way back. Good job

Dr. Goldwaser and her team are punctual, amazing, and extremely professional. I had my four wisdom teeth removed and had a seamless experience. They responded to each and every question I had, they did not rush through any of the explanations, and made sure that I felt calm and secure before my surgery. After the surgery, I felt way better than I expected, and barely had any pain. I will continue to go to Dr. Goldwaser, I completely trust her medical advise, and would absolutely recommend her!

Unfortunately the office staff is non responsive. I have been waiting three weeks for a surgery appt. Each time I call the office, nobody can assist, they tell you someone will call back and they don't. Also if you're asking for the office manager, you will be placed on hold for a very long time (30 min +), if your lucky someone will come back on the line.

I had to have a wisdom tooth removed, experience was excellent, the staff was very nice/attentive and made sure that I was comfortable. Dr. Goldwasser and team were nice and respectful! In any case would recommend to anyone looking for an easy wisdom tooth removal, easy recovery, and a genuine doctor and staff.

I went to Dr Goldwaser for a Wisdom tooth. I can't be any more satisfied with the Doctor as well as other members or her staff (Jasmine, Maria, Philip Marielly. Johana ) I would say fantastic. The same care Dr Goldwaser provides is transmitted to the rest of the staff). They all made me very comfortable. They all show that they care and that I was not just one more patient passing by I will continue with them for other needs.

NOT TRUSTWORTHY. If their response to this is generic and to call the office, you've been warned. I was recommended by my dentist to extract a wisdom tooth on a nerve. I went to Dr. Goldwaser to get an assessment. Before even scheduling a appointment for the procedure, she gave me a pamphlet on post op care and called in for pain meds at my local Walgreens. Then, I was recommended by this office to get a catscan at a far sister office of theirs. I never heard anything after a week. I called and ask why no follow up, they couldn't tell me and said the doctor would call me. Finally after 2 weeks she calls and says to make an appointment. I called and already to my knowledge they told me I was no longer covered by my insurance. I don't see how or why that was an issue when I would pay out of pocket. I gave up trying to make an appointment and took it as a sign not to get this done by them. I'm basically chasing after you to crack my jaw and pay out of pocket.

I'm grateful for the Oral facial reconstruction and Implant center. I took out my 3 wisdom teeth here. Dr. Goldwaser and staff did really well and made sure I was relaxed before surgery and she even contacted me after to know how I was doing. I didn't really feel pain after and was talking the next I could've gone back to work. So I recommend coming in for dental surgery.

Stay far away from this place. Unprofessional and rude. Without insurance before you enter to your visit one price when exiting its double. Stating they inform they lies in your face. When I schedule appointment they said it will be $60 because Community Health Center give me there info, when I came in they said $110 because I dont have xrays and when I was leaving $220. $220 for xray and doctor came for 2 min to tell what to do in a rush and then assistant was forcing fast signing a lot of concents for 30 min .From everyone in that office I dont feel comfortable come back ever.

Be careful with these people! They will go through the whole appointment without telling you that your health plan doesn't cover and then ripped you off for an X-Ray and couple of words from the doctor. I felt robbed!!! When I made my appointment on the phone I made CLEAR that I needed to know if my plan would cover before going there. They never called me so I understood my plan would cover. Then they claimed they couldn't reach me on the phone. But they received my form from my email they could have contacted me there or even when I showed up to the office they could have tell me. Total ripped off. All they care about is the money. Their rates are outrageous!
