He is from Laguna Niguel, CA. He received his Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell Biology in 2007 from UCLA. Dr. Farshidi then attended Dental School at UCLA where he received his D.D.S in 2011. Following dental school, Dr. Farshidi moved to Hartford, CT to attend his Surgical residency at the prestigious Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) program at the University of Connecticut.
In addition, Dr. Farshidi has also completed 2 years of General Surgery training and 4 months of Anesthesia training. He also served as Chief Resident during his last year of residency and received his M.D. from UCONN in 2013. Dr. Farshidi is eligible to be a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon from the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Farshidi is trained in a wide range of advanced specialty cases in full-scope oral surgery. His expertise includes orthognathic procedures, temporomandibular joint surgery, cleft, and craniofacial surgery, major head and neck trauma, general anesthesia/IV sedation, dental implants, and bone grafts, dental alveolar surgery, full arch fixed reconstruction, all-on-four, teeth-in-a-day, and treatment of wisdom teeth.
Dr. Farshidi currently lives in Laguna Niguel with his wife, Sanam, who is a California native and works in advertising. In their free time, Dr. Farshidi and his wife enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with their friends and family.
After completing his predental requirements at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, Dr. Braun earned his dental degree from Marquette University, in Milwaukee, where he distinguished himself by graduating cum laude. He completed his advanced residency training at V.A. Hospitals in both Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Long Beach, California.
Dr. Braun started his private practice in Orange, California in 1977, and opened a second office in Tustin. In 1981 he was Board Certified by The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Brauns professional affiliations include The American Dental Association, The California Dental Association, Orange County Dental Society, The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, The California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is affiliated with Childrens Hospital of Orange County, St. Josephs Hospital in Orange, CA and La Veta Surgical Center in Orange, CA. Dr. Braun is also certified by the state of California to administer anesthesia in our office outpatient facilities.

If you come across this review because you are researching your future Dr. look no further. Dr Farshidi was amazing and very professional, he made sure I was very knowledgeable with the procedure! He was also very patient to explain everything. Not only was the doctor incredible but the whole staff blew my expectations. Every single person made me feel very comfortable about being there even though I was a bit anxious. I will say a person that really stood out was Jennifer, she was a sweetheart. Jennifer made my visits 10x better. She made it feel like I had known her for ages and she treated me like family. Fast forward after the amazing surgery performed by Dr. Farshidi, my post op visit was very quick and easy. Thank you to the staff and Dr!

My general dentist referred my mom to Dr Farshidi for tooth extraction. The process is very quick. My mom is 85 and she didn't complain any pain at all plus no bleeding afterwards.. I'm very impressed with his work!

My experience was amazing. I was fearful at first but everyone made me feel comfortable and at ease. Communication was understanding. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend to anyone that needs to have dental surgery or wisdom teeth extraction

Dr. Farshidi and team went above and Beyond to make sure I was comfortable when getting my dental implant. I have high anxiety and fear of pain when it comes to my teeth. I am so happy I found Dr. Farshidi who put me at ease and I felt no pain. Best doctor to extract a tooth and put an implant in. Highly recommended, I would put more than 5 stars if that was an option. His team is amazing and funny on top of it!
