David Seago D.M.D., is a native Mississippian who grew up in the Jackson area. He attended Jackson Academy(93) and obtained his Bachelor of Sciences from Mississippi State University after 3 years of study. Following his time at MSU, David attended the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and obtained his DMD in 2000.

Following graduation from dental school, David was accepted into the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. He received his certificate in the summer of 2005. While in Galveston David received extensive training in all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with special emphasis on trauma, pathology, orthognathic surgery, and dentoalveolar surgery. He was blessed to be able to participate in the Shriner Hospitals Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic. Dr. David Seago is a recipient of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a member of American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Upon completion of his residency, David returned home and went into practice with Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates. David enjoys practicing a traditional scope of procedures in both the Flowoodand Madison offices. Special interests to David include: pediatric oral surgery, pathology, trauma and implant supported over dentures. Dr. David Seago has recently completed extensive training in arthroscopy of the TMJ and is excited about the positive outcomes he is seeing in his patients.

When not performing oral surgery, David has many interests outside of dentistry. David has run multiple marathons and completed three Ironman triathlons (Canada, Texas and Chattanooga). He is active in his community through his leadership in a weekly mens bible study, has participated in numerous foreign mission trips, and in his membership in local dental societies.

Dr. Brown received a B.S. in Biology and Microbiology from Mississippi State University followed by obtaining his D.M.D. at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 2001. He then completed postdoctoral training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Howard University Hospital and affiliated hospitals in Washington, D.C. and Bronx, NY in 2005.

Upon completion of residency training, Dr. Brown completed Officer Training School in the United States Air Force, July 2005. He then joined the staff at Mike OCallaghan Federal Hospital at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, NV as a captain and staff oral & maxillofacial surgeon. During his time at Nellis Air Force Base, Dr. Brown was promoted to Major and received the Air Force Commendation Medal for distinctive accomplishments during his tenure. In 2009, Dr. Brown was assigned to Keesler Air Force Base; Biloxi, MS. While at Keesler AFB, he received the Air Forces Jr Clinical Dentist of the Year Award and Field Grade Officer of the Year in 2010. Dr. Brown was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in 2012. For his outstanding accomplishments at Keesler AFB, Dr. Brown was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.

Dr. Brownis a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. Professional areas of interest include, oral pathology, reconstructive and implant surgery, and orthognathic surgery. Dr. Brown has a strong interest in academic research and publications with a focus on pathology and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Brown has also been involved with numerous humanitarian missions including service to Panama and the Dominican Republic.
