Ryan McPherson is a native of Russellville, KY. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science from Western Kentucky University and worked in the family business Rolling Hills Golf Course. Early in life he had an interest in aviation. He obtained a private pilot certificate during college and pursued further training in aviation after college where he met his wife Martha. With much introspection Ryan had a change of heart regarding a career in aviation and decided to pursue a career in healthcare.
Ryan became interested in dentistry while observing a good family friend in his hometown. In 2010 he started dental school at the University of Louisville and developed an interest in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Immediately following graduation from dental school in 2014 he pursued residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Florida.

Both my children had their wisdom teeth out. Dr. McPherson spent a tremendous amount of time explaining the risks and benefits to me. We couldn't have had a better experience. The surgical day went smoothly, and the children did well.

Dr. McPherson and his staff are wonderful! The surgery went well for the 6 (yes, 6) wisdom teeth that had to be removed. We followed all directions concerning the cleaning/healing instructions and the healing process went smoothly. Thank you so much!

Excellent personnel, customer service and everyone took great care of me! They were able to get me in extremely quick because I followed THE SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS to fill out my new patient information online! If you want to get in sooner, do as they ask- do your new patient information online- they had me in within a week!! The Front Desk/Reception Staff were amazing and the dental assistant was amazing! Exceptional service from first phone contact to post op follow up! I have a severe fear of dentists, the entire staff and Dr McPherson were understanding, empathetic and professional. They sincerely made me feel safe and at ease with the entire process.

This front desk staff? Rude, inattentive, constantly cutting you off mid-sentence... My wisdom teeth were scheduled to be removed in one month. I was in pain, and I asked if the date could be moved forward, please? "NO Ma'am there are no more dates available. We'll see you in a month. " Click. Wow. Sure looking forward to THAT appointment. Must be nice to be the only pony in a one-horse town. Yikes-- I'd say it's as bad as pulling teeth... but... Then again, that's EXACTLY what I want them to do.

Dr McPherson is a Excellent oral surgeon. And has a very friendly and professional staff. Dr McPherson extracted a tooth I had no problems at all. Staff called and checked on me to make sure I was doing well.

First time to an oral surgeon. Truely loved the staff, very friendly and efficient. Dr Mcpherson had great rapore with me . Consultation was thorough and day of surgery went off without a hitch. The staff and Dr made me comfortable with the procedure and it all went smoothly. I will definately recommend to all who ask if I know a good, no I mean great Oral Surgeon.
