Dr. Larry Hoffman was born and raised in the Chicago area. He is a proud graduate of the University of Illinois, where he earned both his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Dental Science degrees. After receiving his degree in dental medicine, Dr. Hoffman gained invaluable experience during a rotating internship at the renowned Albert Einstein Medical Center. He has spent the past 30 years practicing dentistry and creating beautiful smiles, earning a reputation as one of the leading implant and cosmetic dentists in the Chicagoland area.
Over the years, Dr. Hoffman has had many professional achievements. He is especially proud of being one of the earliest innovators in the field of implant dentistry, developing important implant and re-implantation techniques. Dr. Hoffman and his cutting-edge implant work were featured in an article in People Magazine in 1974. Since then he has also appeared on CBS, NBC, ABC, and many other networks to discuss aspects of cosmetic and implant dentistry. But Dr. Larry Hoffmans greatest achievements have been the smiles of the patients he has helped. Watching how the wonderful results have changed his patients lives has been a fulfilling and rewarding part of his career.
Dr. Hoffman has many hobbies. If he is not in the office, you may find him on the golf course or rooting for his beloved Chicago Bulls or White Sox. He has a wonderful family with whom he enjoys spending quality time, and he is an avid world traveler.
Dr. Hoffman has been an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry since 1969. He has been a fellow of the AAID since 1990 and has served on the Board of Directors in 1992, 1993, 1995, and 1996. He also served as president, vice president, and treasurer of the AAID Central District in alternating years. In 1999, Dr. Hoffman was scientific chairman of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry General Meeting in Orlando, Florida.
Born in Chicago, Dr. David Sher attended New Trier High School and then went on to graduate from the University of Illinois with his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Science degrees. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Sher spent a year in a general practice residency at Rush PresbyterianSt. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago. He has been practicing with the Dental Implant Associates since 1982. From pediatric dental care to the complexities of implant dentistry and the cosmetic improvements created in smile makeovers, Dr. Sher enjoys all aspects of his work.
Dr. Sher is known for his caring, professional demeanor and his attention to patient satisfaction. Aesthetics and function are his primary concerns for each patient he treats, and an emphasis on minute details helps him in creating lasting smiles. Dr. Sher sees patients from a wide range of socioeconomic and age groups, and he works hard to treat all of his patients according to their needs, desires, and financial abilities. He guides patients in the multiple possibilities of oral health care and works with patients to develop a customized treatment plan.

I came on time and even early than my time, office was closed. I left in 9:15 a.m., office still closed. My appointment was on 9 a.m. Ridiculous!!! If could Not make it should call in the morning!! We are human, we can talk!! Today 09/22/22 was much better approache and doctor finally did implants. I hope so will be stay forever . Will see.

I can highly recommend Oradent Associates for those seeking the best in oral care. Doctor Hoffman is truly expert in his field, and a very nice person too! I find all the staff to be pleasant and very professional.

It was my first time at this dental office. I read review after review and was nervous about choosing a random dental office because I had an urgent situation. Find the best review about this office and maybe it comes close to how impressive everyone is there. I'm very appreciative to them.

Outstanding hospitality and professionalism from beginning to end. This establishment follows excellent safety protocols, has an inviting/relaxing atmosphere, as well as incredible people who are exceptionally skilled in what they do. My experience here was fine until the dentist came in. He immediately asked if I had insurance and, when I said no, he proceeded to give me a really rough exam. He then made a joke that my orthodontist must have been Stevie Wonder and left. It was really humiliating and I would never go back.

I recently came to this practice for Teeth Whitening after purchasing a Groupon. The office manager and the lady who did my whitening were wonderful and friendly. I have nothing but good things to say about them. The dentist, however, was extremely rude and unprofessional. I work in marketing and many of my clients are dentists (not locally or I would have went to one of them). I know how a professional Dentist should interact with patients. He walked in prior to the procedure and was very rude about my dental hygiene, which is good by the way. I did have issues due to years without dental insurance, but I am working on them now. My dental clients pride themselves on not shaming people when they visit the dentist. They know that is not the way to establish a trusting patient/dentist relationship. I can honestly say, I have never had a worse interaction with a dentist. I also saw him walking around maskless at one point! In addition, I received a $90 surprise bill in the mail. My Groupon was already paid for. If there was an additional fee that should have been addressed during the appointment. I am very unhappy with my experience and I am going to spread the word.

Dr Flicker is a butcher. He did me a filling, and month after that he needed to make root canal because of the bad filling he made. He has no attitude to the patients.

I considered cancelling our routine dental visits today as the weather was threatening, however, we decided to keep them and my wife and I were happy that we did. The Covid protocols were in place and the new hygienist, Melissa, earned the approval of both of us. Dr. Sher was his usual caring and confidence instilling, but his joke wasn't as good as on previous occasions. So...I guess we will continue for another 50 years for my wife and only 30 for me. And the front office, (Tracey) is always sweet and kindt!
