Dr. Odegard opened his dental practice in the Renton Highlands in 1991. He has expandedhis practice over the years the old-fashioned way:by giving people great, honest service and doing excellent dentistry. Dr. Odegard believes that the reward for treating people well is the opportunity to treat their friends and family.
Dr. Odegard is a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle-King County Dental Society. He is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, an award that only 5% of dentists nationwide have achieved. He is also a Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists the highest award after submitting over 200 implant cases for review and taking an oral and written exam.
Dr. Odegard attends many hours of continuing education courses each year and has studied endodontics (root canal dentistry), cosmetics and smile makeovers, implants, periodontal surgery, CEREC one-visit computer-made crowns, oral surgery, and comprehensive prosthetic dentistry through The Pankey Institute, many dental implant continuums, and mini residencies. Hehas a passion for dentistry and spends many of his personal hours reading dental science journals and current textbooks.
In 1996, Dr. Odegards practice was awarded the Renton Chamber of Commerce Total Quality Business award, a Malcom Baldridge-styleaward for businesses in the under-25-employees class. This is a reflection of his dedication to his employees and his patients. In 2017, Dr. Odegards office was selected as the Best Dentist in Renton by the Renton Reporter Best of Renton Awards.
Dr. Odegard enjoys spending time with his family, biking, playing the drums, and studying dentistry and working on his dental practice. Dr. Odegard has been married for more than 30years and has three grown children.
Dr. Ericksen attended Liberty high school here in the Renton Highlands and was one of Dr. Odegard s dental students at the UW School of Dentistry where Dr. Odegard is a volunteer instructor. During his time at the UW School of Dentistry Dr. Ericksen received several awards for excellence in Operative Dentistry and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society for graduating at the top of his class.
Dr. Ericksen provides comprehensive dental treatment with a focus on preventative, cosmetic and digital dentistry. I have personally mentored Dr. Ericksen and I can assure you that you are in the best of hands with him says Dr. Odegard. Dr. Ericksen brings a lot of passion for dentistry combined with new science and technology. We think you will find Dr. Ericksen to be very caring and personable. His is also great with kids and takes a lot of time for each one of his patients.
In his spare time, you can find Dr. Ericksen skiing Crystal Mountain, playing soccer or tending to his plants in his home aquarium. He is a big Seahawks and Husky fan and enjoys golf and Tennis in the summer.

Jessica graduated from the Renton Technical Institute and has been working in our office ever since. She is very friendly and compassionate. Brooke is a Certified Dental Assistant and completed her training at the Renton Technical Institute. She had wonderful personality and brings to our office a bundle of energy and enthusiasm.
