I was there on 09/30/22 and on 10/3/22. This place is friendly, clean, caring, and the BEST dental experience I've ever had.

The worst place ever! Literally been waiting months for a call back! Everytime I called, I get a call center that day they're leaving a message to the Bloomington office. Yet, months later still no call back to set up my services. Absolutely the worst!!

I had been going to Optim Dental since 2018 and never had a problem until yesterday. Upon arrival and signing in, I was told by a receptionist that I did not have an appointment. Luckily there was a more experienced receptionist who explained it was due to a system change, that it did not show up on their new schedule. So, she added my appointment and I was seen maybe 10-15 minutes after my original time. This was supposed to be a regular check up/cleaning. Assistant did xrays, and the dentist came in shortly after. She was trying to explain I had 2-3 cavities. I could not understand due to a combination of mask/accent/lack of explanation. I was seen 6 months prior, and had no cavities (i take care of my teeth & don't eat a lot of sweets) so these 2-3 cavities were surprising. While trying to understand what they have on my chart, the dentist clearly gets frustrated with me not understanding and I can tell she's frustrated. She didn't even seem to want to explain my chart honestly. I basically had them start the cleaning without even knowing what work I needed done. After about 5 minutes of what I felt was a ROUGH & RUSHED cleaning, I shook my head to get her to stop. I literally had water running down both sides of my face. Typically any male dentist i've had is super nice - asks if you're doing okay every minute, and if there was water running on your face, they'd dab it with the bib. As soon as they stopped, I explained it felt like she was rushing and that i've never had an experience like this. Her & her assistant took of their gloves instantly and said my cleaning was done (still have spots of plaque on the back of my lower teeth), and if I wanted to schedule another appt I could, or I can get my cavities filled elsewhere. I then told them they hadn't even polished my teeth yet - the dental assistant huffs and puffs and sits back down, so I request a different assistant. Literally the most rude dentist i've had at this location, and the worst experience at the dentist i've ever had period. I will not be going back. Unsure if it was rushed because I wasn't on their new schedule, but there definitely were too many patients there at once.

They canceled my son's appointment for a remodle, not good at planing on there part so i missed work because of there bad scheduling. Then about a month later they pulled one of my kids appointments because there call center didn't reach me so done. I can't keep missing work because of there system and how they run things. I hope they change there business name again and cancel other appointments why others can figure out how much work they want you to miss on behalf of there faults. Should be no stars!!!!!!!!!!

My mother who is retiree waited 6 months for her dentures, and once they came the doctor confirmed they do not fit or work. Unfortunately Optim is now refusing to fix the problem.

Everyone here was so kind and really helped to put my mind at ease as during my visit today. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable during my extractions and explained everything along the way.

I have visited 2 days ago. My scheduled appointment was at 4pm but I was attended by the care giver after waiting more than 30 minutes. This visit was for annual check up and cleaning. But the lady who cleaned my teeth was not a good hand. I got hurt and still I am having pain in two places inside my mouth- upper center and lower right side. I am so disappointed with their service. I don't know why she was in hurry and just cleaned my teeth without any care. She spent hardly 7 minutes and rushed to attend another patient. This is totally unexpected. I am so disappointed that it drove me to write this review. Obviously I will not recommend any of my friend, co-worker and family member about optim Dental. If my pain really turns worst in another 1 or 2 days, I will take necessary actions!

Went in there today for a basic cleaning. I was told I needed a deep cleaning. Cool. Not a problem. She had to numb the bottom of my mouth... Now mind you, to do that, she has to stick a very long needle in my mouth 4 times in 4 different spots. Well, the first injection didnt go well. She was a bit rough and inserted the needled too much. How do i.know. because its MY MOUTH! well, long story short. She didnt rinse my mouth completely for the blood to clear and was too aggresive with tje cleaning tool. My whole mouth hurts and I regret going there. I feel ljke people who have medicaid insurance get treated differentlt!!! Do not reccommend!!!

I had a wonderful experience at Optim Dental blmg. Fully up-to-date xray machine, the extraction was a breeze. Absolutely no pain, did not take him long at all. I will be returning in three weeks for more additional work.

Took 7 months to make 2 partial dentures and they both are garbage, now I have to fight for all my money back so I can go to a different dental office and have them made correctly and go through this whole process again for a 3rd time. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Me and my daughters have been here a few times. Friendly staff for the most part. Good luck calling in for appointments or anything. They never answer. You leave a voicemail and they don't call back. Annoying.

If I could give ZERO stars o would. One dentist here,rushes everyone. Lies to your face. If you use state insurance, don't expect quality work from here. just picked up my permanent dentures after a year of this process. They gave me another set of immediates and are trying to pass them off as permanents. No name on these things, so if I died, no one would know who I was. Liar told me my wax try ins were for the teeth only. LIE! MY SO CALLED PERMANENTS are ridiculous! DO NOT GO HERE FOR DENTURES!

This is Sharon. I had an appointment yesterday. Everyone I had contact with were very knowledgeable, friendly but most of all kind. Have appointment next week for extractions and then dentures. So far very pleased with my care and would give them a very good recommendation.

Optim Dental in Bloomington is the best place ever! Having teeth that needed to be pulled and having major dental anxiety/fear of any dental work since I was a kid, they made the experience barrable. My dentist kept asking if I'm ok throughout the procedure, making sure I was ok. They are gentle and understanding and take things slow. Definitely wish I had found them sooner before I developed teeth problems. Definitely recommend going to Optim Dental!!

My appointment was 10am, I arrived at 9:50am, Waited till 10:10 before they called me back for a cleaning, I sat in the back room till 10:50. I walked to the reception desk and told her I have been waiting for almost an hour. And if they didn't have time to see me they should've made my appointment for a different day. I scheduled this appointment months in advance, took time out of my schedule to come down and wait to get a cleaning. She screamed at me that she was on the phone. I walked out. I will be reporting to the BBB and American Dental Association. I have had three appointments with this office and waited over 30 minutes after they called me back every time. These people are inconsiderate of customers time or incompetent or both. I rate this visit zero stars.
