Jessica Wingard is obsessed with teeth! A dental assistant who has been with our practice for a year, Jessica graduated from the Auburn Dental Spa Dental Assisting Program. The office would fall apart without her ability to multitask. She has one daughter, and enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family outside of work.
Tori is our office manager and has been with us for a little over a year. She holds an Associates Degree from Southern Union State Community College and a degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Alabama Birmingham. Her ability to multitask is legendary around the office. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband of 16 years and two teenage boys, especially watching Alabama football games.

I had a dental emergency and they were very accommodating about working me in today. The entire staff was great! Their system worked like a well oiled machine. I would definitely recommend Opelika Dental Associates.

From the receptionist to the tech to Dr Cochran I was treated with kindness and service. Dr Cochran is very efficient and fast and very friendly and my wife and I appreciate our friendship at Opelika Dental. Dr Waters is still a great dentist too even though he has been practicing for two centuries.

I had to have a tooth extracted, it was infected, I had been to the ER prior and was already taking antibiotics for several days. The doctor that performed my tooth extraction was doctor mackenzie Johnson. The process was terribly poor, my tooth was extracted only half numb and terribly painful. 4 different times and 7 tubes of medication later I still felt 60% +/- of everything going on including the extraction of my tooth. After almost coming off the table 4 times not numb at all with someone trying to pry my tooth out. I tried explaining I wasn't numb, Dr Johnson said I cant remove the pressure pain, I explained this was way more than pressure, the last attempt she skipped the probe and went straight to prying, and then to pliers, at this point I was in so much pain I just wanted the tooth out as fast as possible. On my way home I passed out in the front seat of the car on the ride home due to pain. I ended up with an ambulance visit to my home driveway. My wife in a desperate attempt to help relieve my pain called the dentist office to see if she could get me some pain meds prescribed. There answer was to revisit the facility to see what they have done wrong or what else is causing so much pain, in order to justify a prescription for anything more than motrin. Of course I will never return to this office, nor give any advice for anyone else that I care about to do so. I wasn't going to return for more negligence and abuse. In my past I was a manager of a pharmacy for a major retailer in the us for over 12 years. I take no prescription meds on any regular basis, nor have a been to a doctor for more than an annual checkup in over a decade prior to my tooth ache. I don't quite fit the drug abuser category. The way I described my dentist visit to my wife was the worst experience I have ever witnessed in 37 years of life. I compared my visit to a script in a "saw" movie and told her I'm not dead but still looking for the key. I would rate them negative stars if possible. Absolutely unprofessional, ethically unfair, and absurd at best. My wife was kind enough to show me incident in a video........ Even more dramatic than I imagined once I saw the video.

Great experience! My dental hygienist Dorothy was awesome. I have very sensitive teeth. She took her time and ensured that I was comfortable throughout the process. The staff is friendly and professional. I highly recommend their services.

I got my partial back today and, overall, I'm feeling pleased with the result. I went in for a root canal today and the canal was calcified but the Doctor got it done. I recommend Opelika Dental Associates.

My first time office visit experience was great. The atmosphere was inviting and refreshing. Dorothy Turner my dental hygienist was so very friendly and thorough with her cleaning process. She is a very sweet person with a beautiful spirit and personality. The check out process was good.
