Itero Scanner for Invisalign and Crown and Bridge and Implant restoration: Itero is all about patient comfort without the use of messy, goopy putty impressions. It combines the latest optical and digital scanning technology to create and highly accurate digital impression of teeth and jaw. The Itero scanner ensures accurate impression resulting in improved treatment and more comfortable experience.

The Itero scanner does not expose our patients to any sort of radiation.The scan works seamlessly with Invisalign to begin Orthodontic treatment with clear aligner and track the progress.Invisalign Outcome Simulator: Invisalign outcome Simulator allows us to visualize your orthodontic treatment outcome before we start the treatment.Cavities between teeth are often invisible to naked eyes. Dentists re;y on bitewing x-rays to find them. Iteros Near Infra-Red Imaging (NIRI)feature allows us to identify cavities between teeth without an X-ray. CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography): A CT (computed tomography) Scan or Cone beam machine is a 3D imaging device. The three-dimensional images this technology generates allow for more accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. CT dental scans are fast, safe, and use significantly less radiation than conventional CT scans. Dental CT scans are used in a variety of situations to provide patients with a more accurate diagnosis and treatment planning of orthodontic issues. CT Scan can be used in cases such as:

Digital x-rays: At Opal Family Dental we use Digital X-ray technology to provide our patients with instant, comfortable radiographs of their teeth. We use direct digital sensors which has been shown to significantly decrease the radiation levels compared to old film x-rays.

Electric dental hand pieces: Electric-driven handpieces provide constant torque and speed while cutting. Patients prefer electric handpieces as they are quieter and dont produce same vibratory sensation. This is a big deal with patients with dental anxiety.

Ultrasonic Piezo Scalers: Piezo scalers are very efficient in removing the deposits and bacterial biofilm from your teeth. After your prescribed cleaning is completed, your teeth will be deposit free leaving you feeling fresh and clean!

For Dr. Modani, average has never been good enough. He takes the dental health of his patients very seriously. He especially focuses on patient education and the preventive aspect of dentistry. He continuously strives to exceed patient expectations and treatment outcomes. Dr. Modani holds himself to highest ethical and clinical standards.

After completing Dentistry from India in 2006, he worked in hospital and private practice settings. He came to the United States to pursue a Masters of Health Care Administration in Houston, TX, where he got good understanding about US healthcare administration. Later, he came to New York to follow his passion of Dentistry and achieved Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from prestigious New York University in 2014. Since then he has been providing preventative and restorative care to his patients.

With a wide array of experience, Dr. Modani provides efficient and effective dental treatment in a very comfortable manner. Dr. Modani has special interests in cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatments and Invisalign. He is up to date with the latest technology and inventions of dentistry by Continuing Dental Education courses. He is an active participant of the Academy of General Dentistry and American Dental Association.

Dr. Modani is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), the only non-profit professional association dedicated exclusively to the practice of dental sleep medicine. Dr. Modani helps treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy, an effective treatment that could be covered by most insurance plans. AADSM membership provides Dr. Modani with access to educational resources and practice management tools that help him better serve his patients by providing the highest quality of care in the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea.

Once we determine you are a good candidate for Invisalign, we take dental records. The records include photographs of your teeth and face, digital scan of your teeth and gums with Itero Scanner and x-rays.

Dr. Modani is a very bright and knowledgeable Dr. He shows that he truly cares about his patients. I have been to a couple other dentists and would not trust them as far as I could throw them. It was my first time here and in the beginning I had a hard time finding the office since the shopping center was under construction and there was no sign posted on their door. Drove around for 20 minutes. It was a little frustrating but their service made it up. Everyone was so pleasant and this was my first experience where the doctor cleaned my teeth himself. I already made my second appointment. Thank you!

If you are looking for a dentist look no more! This place is amazing ! Great prices and very professional! Had a wisdom tooth removed today under local anesthesia. Absolutly no pain total comfort. They will be my dentist ! Very very satisfied . Dave B

I mistakenly made an appointment at Opal thinking I was contacting the dentist I had been seeing the last few visits. It was certainly a senior moment. I arrived thinking my dentist must have moved to a new location. Long story short... Opal was not my my regular dentist. But after my visit they most certainly are NOW. Doctor and Staff and facilities first class. Very pleasant, professional experience. I do a few follow up visits, but they planned it out for me thoroughly. Good experience. YES, even for a trip to the Dentist! FIVE STARS... Thanks for the smile, Thomas H

Dentist of over 20 years retired - miracle I found this place - Left message for office of new dentist took over for my former one of 23 years ---: no return call, so out of desperation looked for "dentist closest to me". Handled my acute issues and saw me today for X-rays and cleanings. I'm beyond satisfied!! Doctor and his team are amazing - if you were former "Goddick" patient and are looking - look no more - Thank you isn't enough / I look forward to long relationship as "new patient" to your practice.

Switching to this dentist was an overall pleasant experience! Even before treatment they give you a cleaning! The staff was very friendly and the dentist was extremely professional. I never thought I would be actually looking forward to a root canal!

Dr Modani is very compassionate and patient ( pun intended :-) ) . I saw him for regular dental cleaning after avoiding dentist for 5 years. He did a thorough job and explained the situation with one of my teeth needing a root canal. Root canal also went smoothly and didn't have any post operate issues. Opal Family Dental office staff is also very courteous. I would highly recommend Opal to anyone needing dental attention.

First time at this dentist and they are amazing! It was super easy to get an appointment. I called and they were able to have me come in the next day! I had a painful tooth that needed to be removed and my dentist couldn't see me until January 20th! I couldn't wait that long. I called Opal Family Dental and they were able to see me the next day and take the tooth out for me!! As soon as I got there they took me right back and got started! Super friendly! Nice clean office and they also had great prices! Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Modani is a great dentist. He is personable and enjoys what he does. He also will take his time on your teeth because he wants to do a perfect job. He has extracted a tooth for me and inserted a cap, and more than six cavities. I highly Recommend him there were times I was in his chair 2xs a week he kept going till my teeth were fixed and continued to do the work as needed financially I am not there yet but almost done. He has been patient with me the whole way I went to him when I did not have insurance and when I got insurance. He is honest and reasonable, a great guy and dentist. I highly recommend him. I know a good dentist is hard to find, and he is one of the best ones around!
