Dr. Chowdhury formed Only Kids Dentistry in June 2008 with Dr. Roger Day who served children in the Cedar Valley for more than 30 years. Only Kids Dentistry is an exciting new practice dedicated to providing health-centered and prevention-oriented dental care exclusively to children in a fun and friendly setting.
A firm believer in preventive and community dentistry, Dr. Chowdhury completed his Masters Degree in Dental Public Health from the University of Iowa in 2001. Completion of General Practice Residency from UI Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City in 2002 further enhanced Dr. Chowdhury's skills. In 2004 Dr. Chowdhury completed his Pediatric Dentistry Residency program from UI College of Dentistry and served with People's Community Health Clinic in Waterloo from 2004 to 2008.

My son needed to have some dental work done and I chose Dr.Chowdhury because of his kind, caring, gentle nature, attention to detail, family friendly accomodating office & ability to help kids (& parents) understand at their level what and why things need to be done. My son was very nervous, but Dr.Chowdhury and his staff took their time and did a great job making him feel at ease in the office before, during & after his procedure. Still to this day my son talks about how good of a job Dr.Chowdhury did and the fact that he didnt even feel a thing! We will definitely go back again if we need another procedure!

I love that my kids LOVE going to the dentist. I honestly don't think this would be the case anywhere else. EVERYONE at the office is so helpful and friendly and put the kids completely at ease.
