Dr. Anne Russell - Brien grew up in the Rochester area. She graduated from LeMoyne College in Syracuse 1993 with a MS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She obtained her DDS from the State University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1997. Dr. Russell-Brien then moved back to the Syracuse area for a one year General Practice Residency at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center. She worked in the North Syracuse area prior to becoming an associate with the Oneida Dental Group in October of 1999. Dr. Russell-Brien became a partner in July of 2001
Dr. Nathan Weires grew up in New Paltz, NY. He attended Cornell University and graduated in 1995 with a BS in Microbiology. He then moved to Buffalo where he obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Weires then spent a year in the US Public Health Service working at the Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, New Mexico. He provided dental care to the people of the Navajo nation.
He returned to Buffalo where he worked and married his wife Jean in 2001. After spending a year in Chicago, IL he moved to Oneida, NY to practice. In July 2006, Dr. Weires became a partner of the Oneida Dental Group. He has two boys, Lucas and Mason. Dr. Weires enjoys fishing, running, hiking and golfing.
Dr. Craig DeCastro was raised in Oneida, NY where he graduated from Oneida High School in 1997. Then Dr. DeCastro attended Saint Bonaventure University, graduating in 2001. He entered into Dental School at the University of Buffalo. Following Dental School Dr. DeCastro completed a one year General Practice Residency at Faxton-Saint Luke's Dental Center in New Hartford. He joined the Oneida Dental Group in September of 2006 and became a partner in July 2011.

ODG is hands down the best dental group I've been to. The staff is friendly, they explain everything and follow up when there are issues. I only had one negative experience and that was with a dentist there that I don't regularly see, but when my reg. Dentist heard what happened he went out of his way to make things right. I definitely recommend them.

My wife and I have been going to Oneida Dental since 1996. We now live south of Syracuse and it is a considerable drive to go to Oneida to see our dentist. We love their staff and the quality of their work and would recommend them to everyone.

I actually liked the office when I first went there, although some of the staff were a little snippy. Because they were out of network for my insurance, there was some confusion in what I was charged. Once I realized there was still an outstanding balance, I paid it off. When I called the schedule my next appointment, I was told I was sent a letter dismissing me from their practice. Okay fine. Two weeks later I received a letter stating they were trying to contact me to schedule an appointment. I call again, and I'm told the letter was by mistake, I am still dismissed from the practice. Great way to run a business! Not.

They are GREAT. Dr. DeCastro is concerned and very careful in his approach and the staff is also very good and very cordial. In sum, I actually look forward to going to the dentist!

my kids and I have been being treated in this place for two years, all the staff are always very nice and caring, the place is very comfortable and Dr. De Castro is the best dentist we have ever had, kids usually don't like to go at the dentist, on the other hand, my children always feel at ease with Dr. Di Castro. i absolutely recommend this place

Just had my first cleaning in 2 years (thank you Covid). As expected my plaque buildup was not surprising. My dental hygienist was superb and patient with me. My teeth feel so clean! I highly recommend Oneida Dental. My family have been patients since moving to the area 16 years ago!

Everyone is very friendly and welcoming...very clean and all the employees are wearing masks. I had my teeth cleaned last week and today was a consultation with Dr Russell.. need additional work but they are referring me to an oral surgeon who they trust. I've been going to Oneida Dental for years...
