Patient education is an important factor in the care of teeth. If there is a more effective way to brush, we will let you know. Before any procedure, we will make sure you understand your treatment options fully. While some dentists might hurry into a procedure, the team at Oneco Smiles takes the time to ensure your needs are being met every step of the way.

A pain-free dental experience is our goal. We know that sometimes it is unavoidable to have a little pain after a visit to the dentist, but this pain should never overshadow the benefits of seeing a dentist on a regular basis. The pain often associated with dentistry is often a reason that some people put off visits to the dentist until a serious problem occurs. These serious problems can often be avoided by regular trips to the dentists office.

By making our visits as painless as possible, we allow our patients to profit from preventative care, which can mitigate the risk of ever needing a truly painful or time-consuming procedure. If those situations ever do arise, our state-of-the-art office is fully equipped to ease the discomfort of both mild and serious dental issues.

Dr. Marni Hansill is a Florida native, born and raised in Lakeland. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale in 2005. Since then Dr. Hansill practiced dentistry in rural Idaho, about 60 miles west of Boise, for 10 years while enjoying the great outdoors!

Dr. David Sundeen, D.D.S. is a general dentist who grew up in Minnesota. He graduated from UCSF in 1977 and completed his residency in 1978, focusing his studies on Oral Surgery. After graduation, he practiced in Aspen, Colorado as well as Salt Lake City, Utah, eventually moving to Florida in 1985. He has had the pleasure of seeing patients in several locations, from the Sarasota/Bradenton area, all the way down to Key West! Dr. Sundeen joined Lemon Bay Dental in June of 2016 and sees patients in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

My family was with Dr. Heaton for years before he retired. He was a wonderful man and a great dentist. We stayed with the new company after they took over. The people were always very nice. Each of my family members had our teeth cleaned twice with them. My daughter's last cleaning, they took a Pano view & cleaned her teeth. I was told my daughter had five cavities, and was given a treatment plan costing $890. I was SHOCKED because our family has always been very conscientious about our oral health. I contacted another dentist office who had seen my daughter in the past and had her re-examined by a dentist. I was told she did not have any cavities. She did have a couple of soft spots that could use sealants, but nothing requiring a filling.

Was scheduled for a dental cleaning been going there for over 20 years practice has been sold new ownership fill out paperwork then receptionist said to me you need dental X-rays.No thanks I just want a cleaning nothing is wrong if there is will x ray it then.Well we have to reschedule your cleaning until you do the x rays. Its the law she said .Really ? I am a doctor never herd of it can you show it to me please she started stammering .Then the doctor came out said it's our policy.Ohh number one cause for meningioma ( brain cancer)is ionizing radiation the kind of found in X rays. Why do I need X rays ? If he wanted to make a decision on a sick tooth yes.Just to pay for your new clinic NO. By the way guess why the clinic was sold? Previous dentist is dying from meningioma.Look somewhere else for care or pay to get cancer your choice
