I decided to pursue pediatric dentistry as a specialty after returning from West Africa. I knew that working in an environment with children would be incredibly fun and also bring fulfillment. During my pediatric residency, we treated many children in Dallas who had never been taught about the importance of oral health, nutrition and hygiene, and many more who had never been treated by a dentist.As pediatric dentists, we have an opportunity to work with families and help advocate for changes in public health policies to improve the lives of the children around us. Understanding this has motivated me to serve as a child advocate in health policy.

Ive wanted to be a pediatric dentist as long as I can remember! In elementary school I did a science experiment to show how different beverages can decay teeth. My dad is a veterinarian so he supplied dog teeth to test in different kinds of drinks surprisingly orange juice was the worst (even worse than soda)! I love working in pediatrics because I get to be silly with kids everyday! Theres nothing better than making a kid laugh while fixing their precious smile. Kids just make everything so fun you never know what theyre going to say! Im passionate about what I do because I have the opportunity to give my patients a great dental experience, while setting them up for a lifetime of good dental experiences and oral health.

My daughter has been here twice to remove teeth. She has had to use sedatives both times and the experience and results have been great! I felt comfortable, well informed, and felt that her needs were met.

We searched high and low for a pediatric dental office that we felt comfortable with handling our sons teeth issues. We have loved everything about out experience and highly recommend this dental clinic to all from his surgical procedure to regular check-ups. You won't find a better pediatric dental office in the Tulsa vicinity!

Dr. Chelsea is amazing. The other dentists are completely not nice. I've never send anything like it. We had one dental assistant who was horrific as well. I'ma calm normal person and she about made me and my husband come out of our seats at how roughly she handled our daughter. He said she could never see her again. Just no understanding they are waiting on children. I wouldn't like them as an adult. They don't read notes until they are in front of the kids (who are anxious as it is). I strongly do not recommend them unless you can see dr. Chelsea. She's the sweetest and really gets kids. We've had two negative experiences and just can't do it again. Worst experience.

I took my 4 year old son to Dr. Stephanie Brown yesterday and while I don't typically leave reviews, I just have to say how impressed I was! The staff was all incredibly friendly and efficient. Dr. Brown's knowledge of dental work as it relates to congenital heart defects and her ability to communicate exactly what was going on and the necessary precautions was exactly what I expect (and often don't get) in a provider. She was friendly, personable, took plenty of time to talk with us, and I just left feeling GOOD. With a heart baby, I am PICKY with his care and am so glad we got a second opinion at On The Cusp!

We had a great experience at On the Cusp in South Tulsa. My little boy has had bad experiences at another dentist so I called On the Cusp and got him an appointment the same day. Stephanie was amazing. She made my little boy so comfortable and explained everything she was doing and going to do. We were able to get our teeth cleaned, x-rays taken and an exam without any problems. No Cavities..... He can't wait to go back in 6 months....
