When Dr. Caballeros oldest daughter was born, his journey into the dental field began. After holding her in his arms, he realized that he wanted to do something more meaningful in his career. After long discussions with his wife about potential career paths, he noted that he always thought about becoming a dentist. Unfortunately, he wasnt sure how to get started on this goal. It was her that encouraged him to pursue his dream, and he thanks his whole family in supporting his decision to join the field.
Today, he thanks God every day for giving the chance to do exactly what he loves. Even his daughter comes to the dental office to work during the summer, so who knows maybe the trend will continue in the family!
Dr. Caballeros attended the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery. After earning his degree, he went on to join Baylors Advanced Education in General Dentistry post-doctoral program. Here, he was able to expand his skillset tremendously, incorporating surgical, cosmetic and sedation dentistry into his repertoire. He also had the chance to manage medically-compromised patients of all different ages and apply his knowledge in many ways, including via dental implant treatment and enhancing facial esthetics.
One of Dr. Caballeros greatest achievements was completing his Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. Earning this title required 500 hours of continuing education and passing a comprehensive exam complete with 400 questions. Obtaining this fellowship wasnt easy, but it has allowed him to stay up-to-date on the newest developments in dentistry. He regularly incorporates the latest in dental research and technology into his care however possible.
For nearly 15 years, Dr. Caballeros and his best friend Celia have been happily married. Together, they have two daughters named Victoria and Sofia. In the Caballeros household, family time is a top priority when he isnt busy at work. That means keeping all his loved ones entertained at home, going out to movies and concerts with Victoria, and riding bicycles with Sofia. You can also find him traveling around the country and the world.
Many people dont know this, but Dr. Caballeros attended high school and part of is college at military school in Guatemala. He graduated with a rank of Second Lieutenant, which includes 18 months of survival training in the mountains of the region.
Born and raised in Barcelona, Spain, Dr. Parra graduated from dental school in 2009 from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. Later, he completed a one-year clinical residency in Periodontology. He also served as a pre-doctoral clinical instructor at UIC. During that period, he was involved in research relating to Oropharyngeal Dysphagia and oral hygiene. He practiced in Barcelona for three years before deciding to move to Boston and achieving his Certificate in Periodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.
Since November of 2015, Dr. Parra has been a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas. In September of 2016, during the 102nd annual meeting of the American Academy of Periodontology, he received the Leslie M. Salkin Award for the highest scoring candidate of the American Board of Periodontology oral examination. Hes also lectured nationally and internationally in the field of Periodontics.

Dr. Caballero's staff is the best. They all greet you with a friendly smile and make you feel welcome. Dr. Caballero explained in detail what he was going to do and made sure I wasn't experiencing any pain during the procedure. I very pleased with the outcome (crown). The doctor and staff at On Point Dentistry are very caring and attentive. My daughter had severe pain after her visit. The Dentist personally call to check in on her and reassure us and explained the cause of her pain. He provided a solution and asked us to trust him that it was going to be ok. And a few hours later, it was ok. He gave me his personal Cell phone to call him to let him know how my daughter was doing. I really appreciated the time and care from Dr Caballeros, he's amazing and does a wonderful job.

I don't usually write a review but I just had to when my daughter sent me this photo as she is about to get some work done. She thought she was going to get in trouble when Dr. Caballeros walked in and she was taking a selfie but he stepped in the picture instead. It reminded me of why my daughter refuses to ever see another dentist that's not Dr. Caballeros and why I make the 45 minute drive to come to On Point Dentistry for my daughter's needs, my husband's, and mine. Dr. Caballeros has been our family dentist for more than 7 years now and we are never switching! I thank him and the staff for always being so caring and awesome!

I was nervous going in because I haven't gone to a dentist in a few years and have a number of things that need work, both medically and aesthetically. Everyone at On Point Dentistry was professional and kind, from the front desk staff to the technicians to Dr. Caballeros himself. The doctor is very warm and personable, and he walked me through every x-ray image and plan for treatment, checking frequently to see if I had questions. He came across as very intelligent and humble, and talked to everyone as an equal. I find it impressive that he is board-certified, a level of expertise which something like only 6% of dentists ever reach. That certification combined with all the positive reviews from different sources is why I chose to come here, and I'm glad I did. The office is clean and bright, with an airy design that maximizes the space inside. The equipment struck me as very modern, and everyone I interacted with moved smoothly and efficiently. I got the sense that it's a healthy work environment with staff who are happy to be there (this is just a vibe, but it added to the positive experience on my end). Finally, no one at the office tried to upsell me on any treatments. In fact, the hygienist even recommended over-the-counter solutions for small issues that many insurances don't cover, or that would otherwise just be pricy. This made me feel like any treatments I go into will be out of necessity or because I specifically asked for them, which is a relief!
