Dr. Gulia Omene graduated with honors from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she received a merit scholarship and awards for patient management and treatment planning. She also completed an Advanced Education in a General Dentistry residency at Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, with a special focus on cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry.
Dr. Omene iscertified with the prestigiousAmerican Association of Facial Estheticsto practice facial esthetic treatment (BOTOX and JUVDERM fillers) and treat temporalmandibular disorder (TMJ). She completed her certification for Sedation Dentistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
Prior to opening Omene Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Omene spent 3 years at a private practice in central Pennsylvania before relocating to Paoli with her husband and two young daughters, Fo and Elodie. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Pennsylvania Dental Association.
Dr. Omene serves as an Assistant Editor for the Pennsylvania Dental Journal and is a board member of the Chester and Delaware County Association of Dental Medicine. She volunteers with Community Volunteers in Medicine.
Dr. Omene is committed to both excellent patient care and building long-lasting patient-doctor relationships. She feeds her passion for dental education, both personally and for the patients, by completing numerous continuing education courses every year.

Akpo is our Business Manager. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, and he holds a Certificate in Finance and Accounting from Wharton School. Prior to opening Omene Family and Cosmetic Dentistry with his wife, Dr. Gulia Omene, Akpo worked as a Venture Capital and Private Equity Executive Recruiter and served as the Director of Operations for an international construction and real estate firm.
Akpo manages all non-clinical operations for our practice, and his work allows Dr. Gulia Omene the ability to truly focus on her exceptional talent: giving her patients the most brilliant and best care available. Akpo is usually engaged in blustery badinage with patients and staffusually trying to convince anyone to indulge in some snacks or other tasty treats. An avid Manchester United and general sports fan, Akpo is also the reason ESPN is typically playing in our waiting room.
In his spare time, Akpo loves playing soccer, trying to learn new sports (up next: golf), doling out hugs, annoying his wife, and planning how to ruin the dating lives of his two darling, young daughters when they grow up.
Diane is a proud Pennsylvania native, having been born and raised in Devon. She graduated from Montgomery County Community College for Dental Hygiene. She joined our practice soon after and has been here so long that her patients are legitimately family to her. A recent empty-nester, Diane resides in Berwyn with her husband and 2 dogs. In her spare time, she loves hanging out with her grandchildren and sharpening her already championship-level Sudoku skills. Also, Diane is hilarious!
Trey is our Administrative Assistant. Hes been in administrative roles for about 3 years and loves to continue to grow and develop in his knowledge and skills. With his latest task of learning the ins and outs of the dental industry (which he is absolutely stoked about!).
He is our go-to when it comes to supporting and assisting not only our clinical and administrative teams but all of our amazing patients as well! He is always looking for new projects and ways to help out wherever he can, so if you ever need anything at all, give him a shout!
As a devoted Friends and Disney fan Trey is usually trying to convince Akpo to let him put anything other than ESPN on while working in the office. When hes not in the office Trey can usually be found attempting to bake anything he can think of with whatever ingredients he can get his hands on. If he isnt covering the entire kitchen floor with flour, hes probably trying to tire out his very active puppy before bedtime. Hilarious fun fact about Trey is that he only eats the right sided Twix and would do just about anything for one.
Anacelia is our office manager. She has been working in management positions and leading teams for over 20 years. Anacelia advocates for our patients and staff in everything she does and always strives to put their interests first.
She ensures that our clinical and administrative teams run smoothy and stay as coordinated as possible. In addition, she oversees all patient interactions and experiences and ensures patient safety and satisfaction.
When Anacelia is not managing our team, she spends time with her family and working shoulder to shoulder with her neighbors in her Bucks County community. She takes any spare moment to try and convince her husband to add more animals to their beautiful family. On any given day of the work week Anacelia can be found trying to convince her coworkers (and anyone around her who will listen) that they should get sushi for lunch.

I've been seeing Dr Omene for several years and have found her care exceptional. She and her staff are very personable, always willing to offer suggestions. Dr Omene is a perfectionist and takes her time when doing work to not only ensure that you are as comfortable as possible but that the outcome is perfect.

I've never been to an establishment with so many untrustworthy people. I was charged for services that were never requested or approved by me. After phoning several times and speaking with multiple people I was so frustrated by the fraud and over priced unapproved charges. I called my credit card company to dispute the charges. First of all they don't give you a treatment plan so that you know what services they a charging you for. I'm still fighting a $699.00 charge for dental trays that were not approved. They are the worst. BEWARE

Dr. Omene is probably the best dentist I've ever seen. She and her staff are incredibly friendly and the office is very clean. I started seeing her during the pandemic while temporarily living in Paoli and have continued seeing her now that I've relocated back to NYC. 5/5 stars, easily.

Dr Omene is a phenomenal dentist! The whole staff is wonderful! Everyone is warm and friendly. And Dr Omene is incredibly intelligent but explains everything in layman's terms. It's like visiting with friends when you go there.

BEST dentist I have ever been to! I am no longer scared of getting work done. Gulia has a way of marking me feel comfortable, and I truly trust her. Literally have never been to a dentist like Omene family and cosmetic dentistry. Staff is awesome too, +5 stars!!!

This is the place to go for dental work. I have been to many dentists in my life as I have had dental issues with my front teeth after a bike accident at age 8. from bridgework, extractions, apicoectomy, periodontal and endodontic work. I was very impressed with the efficiency, professionalism and personal care in this office from ALL of the staff from the moment they answered my call. I've been in a lot of dental offices that had mediocre staff, busy/harried receptionists and I have been in good ones too. I could tell right away that this is a good one- they get it. She receptionist got me in right away. This office gets five stars. I want to especially praise also Dr Amene , because ultimately I want quality of work regardless of bedside manner, fancy equipment and glossy brochures,etc. Dr. Amene is a great listener and she carefully considered every detail of my dental history, asked questions and explained thoroughly what my options were (new bridge vs implants) she gave me a lot of time for the consult/visit (and didn't even charge me) I came in with a chipped bridge on my front teeth and I walked out looking beautiful and feeling 100% confident with my smile and confident that I am in the best of care. I felt treated like family. Although it is just a temporary fix - took her just about 5-10 minutes- until we get a treatment plan in place. She is very talented (based on this one small cosmetic fix and recommendation of friend) , intelligent/knowledgeable, has a strong aesthetic and a drive/motivation for excellence in her work. Initially I went to my other dentist who evaluated my bridge and let me walk out with the same big chip on the side of the bridge telling me that there was nothing she could do until I had a consult with the oral surgeon. I came to Dr Amene off of a recommendation of a friend who had and implant and bridgework and has also had decades of dental work and I am impressed with the final product in her mouth and her personal satisfaction (and she is very discerning) Even if you think you have the best dentist I suggest you try this office, especially if you have major work to do and want to get a second opinion. She is worth it without a doubt. I also appreciated that she made it clear to me that there was no expectation or pressure for me to choose her to have the work done. Call the office and be prepared to have a most happy experience at the dentist.

I have never had a provider like Dr. Omene. Not only does she go above and beyond in our appointments (I see her for both my teeth and injectables), she is always working in her off hours on continuing education to improve her already masterful skills. Dr. Omene treats you with your entire face shape, precise tooth color, etc. in mind to build a natural look with your dream smile. Could not recommend more!

Unbelievable experience! This was my first time at the Omene dentistry office and it was fantastic! Lauren was my hygienist, she was very personable and made me feel very comfortable explaining everything very clear. And Dr. Omene is highly respected in the industry, the moment I walked in she greeted everyone with a smile. What a warm welcome. Already rescheduled, and I will be recommending all who are looking for that perfect smile!
