Dr. Mahmassani has been practicing in Frederick, Maryland since 1991. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1985 from The American University in Washington D.C. and his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1989 from Georgetown University. He then pursued a two-year post-graduate training program at the Detroit Medical Center in affiliation with the University of Detroit/Mercy. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. His advanced training in a hospital environment gave him a broad experience in the various disciplines of Dentistry. Professional associations include membership in the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association and Frederick County Dental Society. In addition, Dr. Mahmassani is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the only non-profit professional association dedicated exclusively to the practice of dental sleep medicine. Dr. Mahmassani resides in Frederick, is married and has two daughters.
Beverly is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She began her career as a Dental Assistant after graduating from Montgomery College.She then earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Allegany College of Maryland in 1993. She has been working alongside Dr. Mahmassani since 1995. Beverly spends her free time with her husband, children, and grandchildren and greatly enjoys hiking, biking, and crocheting.
Nancy is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She earned her degrees in Dental Assisting and Dental Hygiene from Allegheny College of Maryland in 1980. She has been working with Dr. Mahmassani since 1991. In her spare time, Nancy enjoys the outdoors while gardening, camping, and hiking with her husband, children, granddaughter, and dog. Nancy is also an excellent baker!
Lisette is our Front Office Administrator. She has been working in dental office administration since 2000. She enjoys interacting with patients from all walks of life. Clearly and comprehensively explaining treatment plans and insurance benefits to patients inbothEnglish and Spanish is very important to her. She passes her free time with her two daughters and enjoys traveling.
Debbie is our Dental Assisant. She is the administrator of our nursing home services. She graduated from Hagerstown Business College in 2004 with a degree in Expanded Functions Dental Assisting. Debbie enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two children, traveling, touring historic homes, and gardening.

First off...I have never had such an amazing experience at the Dentist before. The professionalism, thoroughness and friendliness here is top notch. I found Dr. Mahmassani after coming home from a work trip. I had a dental emergency and was in so much pain. They were able to work me in last minute for an exam and answered every question I had along the way. Turns out, I needed a Root Canal. The procedure itself was painless aside from the initial numbing injection. Dr. Mahmassani even followed up with with me via text every day to see how I was coming along in my recovery. They genuinely have a passion for what they do and it shows. There is a damn good reason there are nothing but 5 star reviews for this practice. If you come here...you will see why.

I've never had any issues since going to this dentistry. The staff are always kind courteous and professional. Most importantly is that they try to sell me something I do not need! I recommend this dental clinic to anyone who like a down home friendly feel and welcome.

We have been going to Dr. Mahmassani for over 15 years. He is honest and thorough. I feel comfortable knowing he is not doing anything unless it is in my families best interest. There is no pushing for extra services or unneeded expenses. His office staff is easy to talk to and helps my family feel at ease. I would definitely recommend him and his office for a family dentist!
