Originally from central New York, Dr. Schadel received his undergraduate Biomedical Sciences degree from the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Schadel continued his education by attending dental school at the University at Buffalo, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with an oral and maxillofacial surgery academic concentration. He graduated at the top of his class with summa cum laude honors and was also elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society. Following dental school, Dr. Schadel completed a one-year oral and maxillofacial internship at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Schadel then moved to Charleston, South Carolina to complete a four-year hospital-based residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at The Medical University of South Carolina. He obtained the highest in-service exam score in his program multiple times and served as Chief Resident during his final year of training. While in residency, Dr. Schadel authored a textbook chapter as well as contributed to the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He has trained with the most advanced and cutting edge technology allowing him to provide individualized treatment plans for each patient. His interests in oral and maxillofacial surgery include wisdom teeth removal, dental implant surgery, bone grafting, facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, oral pathology, and office-based anesthesia. Extensive training in anesthesia allows Dr. Schadel to provide comfortable and safe care for his patients.
Dr. Castillo is from Snyder Texas and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. From there, he went on to complete his Medical Doctor and Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine.

Dr. James O'Brien performed a wisdom tooth extraction and molar implant in one visit. He and his support team demonstrated exceptional expertise, professionalism, communication and attentiveness throughout the process. I will need an additional implant in a few months and feel assured knowing Dr. O'Brien will be there again for me.

This office is AMAZING!!! Top notch and first class staff and Dr. O'Brien is FANTASTIC!!! He called to check in on me in the evening - that is going above and beyond and SO appreciated! They told me they put in disolvable stitch but after 3 weeks the stitches still hadn't disolved. I called them and asked about it and it turns out that they put in the wrong type of stitches. The area in my gum now has a large scar that is noticeable when I smile. I will never use them again and I don't recommend you do either.

I saw Dr. James O'Brien and he was awesome. No one likes to get a tooth pulled but he was gentle and calming. Staff and Dr. O'Brien we're very professional, helpful and made me feel at ease. The office was calming, comfortable and easy to access. I had a tooth extraction and dental implant under sedation. Highly recommend going here for wisdom teeth extraction. Have great after surgery care and very helpful and if there's issues they make sure everything is good and keep in contact until issues are resolved.

Not sure if this is a scam but I was told they needed me to pay for my moms procedure because her insurance would not cover. After I paid in full, I contacted my mom's insurance and they informed me that they did in fact pay for my mom's procedure in full. OOS got paid twice for the same service and is giving me the "run-around" on getting my money back since the insurance paid them. This has been going on since April of 2022. I feel like I was scammed out of my money. Looking to file complaints and see if this is fraud. Not sure how they can legally keep my money. Very unethical.

Caleb Schafer DDS ... I have visited twice in the last year. First was a single extraction second was a double. Both times I was amazed at the professionalism and literally had no pain , some tenderness at the extraction site but that is to be expected. Caleb will be my oral surgeon for life.

Highly recommend Dr. Racker and Omaha Oral Surgery! I have extreme dental anxiety. I was terrified with the thought of walking into the building.
