I graduated from Columbia Basin Dental Hygiene School in 2014 and have been working for Dr. Chilton for 4 years. Although fairly new to the hygiene position, I have worked at Olympic View Dental as a sterilization technician on and off for the past 8 years and I couldnt ask for a better office to work at. Having the opportunity to help patients reach their dental goals and building trusting relationships along the way gives me pride in my work. I enjoy coming to work every day and I love what I do! Our team strives to provide our patients with the best care and I couldnt be more grateful to be a part of it.

After 27 years, I can still say I was meant to be a dentist. I love almost everything about dentistry. Well, maybe not spit. I could do without spit.As a child, I was always building things with my hands and had a knack for art. I would have two or three model kits going at one time and eventually I built my own models from scratch. I had a chemistry kit and a microscope and was an avid birdwatcher all before the age of 12. Many years later I graduated from college with a research paper that was published in a scientific journal. I taught pre-nursing programs at a local college for a couple years and eventually, everything blended together, and I graduated with honors from both dental school and my dental residency.

Dr. Laura Vong is a Washington state native and first-generation daughter of Cambodian refugees. She was born in Bellevue and grew up in Bothell with her parents and younger brother. Dr. Vong grew up around dentistry her mom has been a dental hygienist for 30 years and had a profound influence on her decision to become a dentist. Growing up, Dr. Vong would spend days at her moms office watching the hygienists and dentists work. The dental office was always a fun place for Dr. Vong and one of her main goals is to ensure that her current and future patients enjoy their visits at what is often stereotyped, the dreaded dentist.

Throughout dental school, Dr. Vong was heavily involved with class office, community outreach, and the national level of the American Student Dental Association.

Dr. Vongs passion for dentistry brings together 3 main paths of interest: science, art, and people. She loves to educate patients on the importance of oral health and the mouth-body connection. She also treats her work as an art restorative and cosmetic dentistry are her favorite aspects of dentistry. But most importantly, Dr. Vong loves dentistry because of her patients. She enjoys creating and building genuine relationships with her patients and helping them achieve their oral health goals. Her personal mission as a dentist is to make her patients feel comfortable and cared for while providing the knowledge and treatment they need to obtain their optimal oral health and dream smile.

Outside of work, Dr. Vong enjoys traveling to sunny destinations, dining at local restaurants, attending Seattle sports games, and snowboarding in the winter. She is also active in Washingtons Cambodian-American community, serving on the local board as an education committee leader. Dr. Vong currently resides in the vibrant neighborhood of Capitol Hill with her boyfriend and their mini Goldendoodle, Mango!

Dr. Paul Chilton's staff always makes me feel welcome and Dr. Paul is always extremely professional yet personable and take the time to ask how I'm doing. I have complete confidence in his work. He has to be one of the best dentists in the area. For many years it was Dr. Bucy, then for the last 20 years Dr. Chilton. Thanks guys.

Just had my dental implant done this morning April 21, 2021 and it went by so much quicker than I had anticipated. Meaning, that there was absolutely no anxiety or pain and that the post surgery when I left the clinic had no ill after effects! I don't mean to sound like a broken record but this dental clinic that Dr. Chilton runs is like a well oiled machine. Every time I have a little anxiousness before any procedure, it is immediately put to rest once my teeth are cleaned, have a filling done, have a root canal or a crown put in, I have never ever had a bad experience with Dr. Chilton and his staff. Bar none, there is no better care that you can have in my opinion than this dental clinic! (Maybe because we both wear the same glass frames when he accidentally took mine to put on his face and said whoa something is different here! We both laughed!) I was originally recommended to this doctor from a previous employer who so graciously paid for my teeth cleaning, even when they didn't offer any medical insurance coverage because they were such a small business. I can't thank them enough for this peace of mind!

I'll never trust a dentist as much as I trust Dr. Chilton! Absolute life changer! The whole staff not only help you with your fears, but will give you a smile to be proud of! I know alot of people don't believe what others write in "reviews" because I'm one of them! But I promise with all my heart, if you can build up enough courage to walk through their door and just talk with Dr. C, you won't be sorry!!! The thing that amazed me the most was not only his understand and caring nature, but the fact that he will take his time to answer ANY & ALL qusetion! He actually listens to your concerns and most importantly understands the fear we all have no matter how big or small. My fear is unfortunately HUGE! But I couldn't trust another dentist more and FORBID him to ever retire or move!!! Update! Dr Chill is still as amazing as ever! (has to be to put up with me!) I'm getting a ton of extractions and upper dentures next week, REALLY nervous, but wouldn't trust anyone else except Dr Chilton and staff to take me down this road! If you need dental work of any kind but avoiding it because of fear, do yourself a favor and just meet with him! You won't have any doubt he's the right person for any procedure! Wish I would've known him when I got my first tooth! Probably wouldn't be in the predicament I'm in now! No joke I post a review abt something every few years at most! ONLY doing this post because every word of praise is EARNED!

Service has been excellent. I'm glad I found Olympic View Dental. The place I was going to would always be short staffed and they would try to hurry you out to get to the next person. The hygienist and doctors take the time here to make sure you have the smile you're looking for.

Dr Chilton & his staff are so amazing I I find it difficult to put into words!! My husband & I have gone to him for about 22 years & he's always got a smile & an answer for every situation! And believe me...I'm beyond high maintenance & have had problems far over & above the ability of most dentists!! I'm very grateful that I was referred to him so many years ago!! We now live about a 2 1/2 hour drive away but we wouldn't change dentists for the world!! Thank you Dr. Chilton, Corinne & staff
