Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

My Wife was a patient for braces and we had to move out of state for medical emergency for a family member and this place has been nothing but a mess since that transition. Continued delays on stopping billing after treatment as they send off cancellation requests to their "California office," while we continue to be billed monthly. Incredibly inefficient and almost scam-like that you would have a process like this for treatment transitioning out of state. Constantly told follow-up will occur only to be told the same story every time we call. No one ever knows what's occurring with the process. Economy tanking, yet no consideration given towards ensuring this process is seamless for patients. The actual treatment providers and so forth do a good job -- but I would highly recommend avoiding this place like the plague if you may end up having to move out of state due to work or unforeseen medical emergencies. When this process is handled, the rating will be adjusted; however, potential customers should know the pain this clinic causes by working with an out of state office that handles their transitions. REPLY to owner reply: I've already contacted your business the past weeks and today. Same responses. How about contacting me with actual answers as opposed to delays.

D and Dr. Donnelly were awesome. Talk about collaborative care, great communication and making this one of the best experiences I've had at the dentist. Dr D really listened found a solution and now I know how to coach future providers because I'm moving out of the area.

I have the most extreme dental anxiety known to man. I am a handful at most offices. Dr. Luke Chang and his assistant Ashley B are the most phenomenal dentist team I've probably ever seen. I was pre medicated prior to coming, which is something I've had to do before. I didn't make a peep, didn't tense up. This is the first office I haven't left the chair sore from tensing up the entire time. He is patient, kind, and empathetic. He took extra time and care with me knowing my dental trauma history, actually, the entire staff has done so. He asked if talking me through everything he's doing would help, and it was wonderful he had ideas of how to calm me and help without me starting out or fishing in my overwhelmed brain for it. Dr. Chang is amazing. I hardly felt the pinch from the numbing, which was a complete first. This office is scary clean, they have super cool technology, and everyone here makes it a goal for each patient and to be comfortable and respected for their individual needs, beyond the dental aspects. If you have PTSD from dental work, have extreme dental anxiety, or you can't find someone to see your kid, Dr. Chang and Ashley B are the team for you. I have never left a dentist office feeling calm, even being medicated in other offices. This is the first time I've felt comfortable, safe, and respected. 12/10 will be returning. I've already told my coworkers about you guys, but I know some other friends who could use this kind of treatment.

I had been refered from Tacoma for extraction. At Olympic they fixed the paperwork and where very nice. My only problem was with not being given instructions on how to care for the dentures. I also need an adjustment on the denture itself and my dentist is out.

I've been going here over many years and they have always had a very friendly and professional staff. Today though, I had Dr. Luke Chang and he made quite an impression on me. He is probably the single nicest, most gentle dentist that ever existed, with no hints of condescension. It's great when visiting the dentist isn't a horrible experience and I'm 14 weeks pregnant, so I needed it not to suck...! Thank you for everything you do, good sir; you are a shining credit to your profession and I can tell it makes a difference

Like most people, I have a (lot) a bit of anxiety going to the dentist... Hadn't been in 4 years! I had chipped my front tooth and needed an emergency fix, as well as a crown, that I knew was going to be painful... Dr. Luke Chang was incredible! The experience he provided me was exactly what I needed to continue with visiting my Dentist regularly! His patience and expertise, along with his extremely gentle, yet very effective way that he treated me throughout the entire 4 hour procedure, was so beyond what I expected! His D.A., Isaiah was outstanding as well! Also very gentle and they worked very well together! I would recommend Dr. Chang and Olympic Modern Dentistry to everyone, especially if you have any anxieties about visiting the Dentist! Dr.Donnelly is the best! I came in as a new patient and felt like every need I had was addressed. I was scheduled for X-rays and a cleaning but they were able to do my filling the same day. All of the staff was very kind and the experience was simple. Big shoutout to Dr.Donnelly, Isaiah and Heather for being so great! This was the best dental office I've ever been to.

I went today to have a possible cavity checked out. They couldn't find anything, so instead of pushing a procedure they didn't know for sure I need it not, they gave me the option to wait to see if anything actually develops. It felt so nice not being pressured into anything. And I can't explain well enough how good Dr.Chang and Rachel were at answer all my questions and explaining things to me. Best dentist experience I've ever had.

Cracked molar emergency. New patient. They got me in and placed new crown, and I got a cleaning and filling done while the crown was prepped. Great team working well together from front desk, to X-ray, to technician to dentist. I'm very happy I found them.
