We know that the cost of care can be confusing. In addition to offering a number of in-office payment options to fit your budget, we also give you up-front cost information on your treatment ahead of time. We are in-network with a variety of insurance plans, and we offer various forms of dental financing with credit available in time frames that fit your needs. We are happy to help you navigate your dental insurance and alternative payment options.
At Olympia Smiles, we are qualified to handle all aspects of your care, so you are always surrounded by people that you trust. If we must refer out, we promise to send you to carefully vetted colleagues who apply the same professional principles in their office that we do in ours.
We respect and understand that many patients experience dental anxiety. At our office, we do everything we can to make sure that your experience is as enjoyable as possible. By communicating clearly what you can expect during your treatment, we are often able to alleviate dental fear. We encourage you to bring headphones and music to listen to during your treatment and ask us about dental sedation options.
Yathi Lingam, DDS, is a dentist devoted to his craft and bringing Olympia Smiles to every patient. Dr. Lingam received his doctorate from Loma Linda School of Dentistry in 1997. He is an accredited member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of Osseontegration. Additionally, Dr. Lingam received advanced training in implant dentistry, including bone grafts and sinus augmentation. He also trained with Dr. John Chao at the Pinhole Academy for pinhole gum rejuvenation.
Understanding the needs of his patients, Dr. Lingam is respected and admired for his honest and conservative approach to dental care. He takes pride in working closely with Joint Base Lewis McChord by helping our military soldiers achieve deployment readiness.
Dr. Lingam is an avid outdoor enthusiast and its easy to understand why. He participated in Ride the Hurricane, the challenging cyclist hill climb. On foot he has climbed to the top of Mt. St. Helens, Half Dome in Yosemite, and the high -altitude refuge Camp Muir on Mt. Ranier.

Not the place to go if you have dental anxiety. The cleaning was done well,, very little pain but not the best bedside manner. They rushed through and poked and jabbed the back of my mouth during the fillings. I dont recommend them if you are already nervous. My experience was that they just want to get it over with and are in a hurry, but have plenty of time to chat. I didnt feel important in the chair. I likely won't return

The dentist was great fixed an issue with a crown from another dentist that had caused pain and been unresolved for a year by replacing the crown. Pain issues resolved. I made an appointment weeks in advance for a teeth cleaning. The appointment was set days before I was leaving for vacation. When I got to the dental office and was seated for teeth cleaning I was told a dental hygienist was not available that day and they would do an exam with x-rays but no teeth cleaning. In talking to employee at the front desk area, not the employee directly at the front desk. There was a disconnect as this staff person said I had to have exam before teeth could be cleaned. I pointed out the reason for the appointment was teeth cleaning as they had noted and when they knew dental hygienist was unavailable why didn't they call me to reschedule. I got no acknowledgement just dead eyes from this women. Poor communication,

Top notch care! I'm so glad to have found Olympia Smiles. Every single person in the office did everything in their power to accommodate me and they did it with compassion and a smile. I usually hate going to the dentist but I'm actually looking forward to my next visit!

Had swollen, inflamed gums from a stray popcorn kernel. They got in as soon as I called, worked with me through insurance issues, and did such quality work to remove the foreign object. I have never been stabbed in the gums so painlessly, 10/10!!

I've been going here for the past 7 years and am always pleased with my care. My favorite part is their complimentary paraffin wax treatment for your hands prior to your service. So when you're all done, your teeth are nice and shiny and your hands are extra soft. I have and will always recommend Olympia Smiles to everyone.

Excellent establishment! Dr. Lingam took fantastic care of my dry sockets that I'm currently suffering due to a botched extraction from another dentist. He was patient, kind and explained all of my options to me. Thank you all so much for addressing and eliminating my pain.

I love this dentist. I've been coming here for 7yrs now and every time I think about going somewhere closer to my house I change my mind, simply because I love this place. I love the customer service, the doctor is great, the assistants are equally amazing. 100% recommend.

I have severe dental anxiety and everyone at this office has put me at ease. They all listen to you as the patient and make you comfortable. The experience so far ( been to 2 appointments both very long appointments) have been pain free and as relaxing as possible. Not to mention they have amazing costs for services rendered. Definitely would reccomend!

My family went here for three years. They were not able to check that my parent's gum had deteriorated until it was too late for implants (the third year going there). In addition, the dentist Lingham scarred my parent's lips by ripping the edges while filling a cavity. I do not recommend this dentist to anyone. Our current dentist questions the skill and profession of this dentist.

I had a tooth break and I ignored it. It became infected and the pain was worse than giving birth. I didnt have a dentist and was desperate to be seen immediately in the middle of the pandemic. I called EVERY dentist in thurston county and left messages. The office called me back within an hour and got me in the Next day!! And took care of everything. They were amazing and I will forever be going to them!
