I can not say enough good things about Dr.Olson. He is hands down the most skilled dentist I have ever gone to. I had a tooth filled by a different dentist and was experiencing extreme pain. I had gone to multiple other dentists and specialists and no one seemed to have an answer to my problem until I came to Dr. Olson. He explained everything in great detail and was extremely thorough. I left his office finally feeling no pain for the first time in months. My bite was perfect as if I never had work done. If you are looking for a dentist who is skilled and amazing at what they do this is the person you want to go to.

Great friendly atmosphere in the office..My only regret is not coming here years ago.Dr Olson and staff have been very kind to my every needs.My dental insurance provider didn't want to cover some of my procedures that needed immediate attention. Dr.Olson fought tooth and nail with my insurance until they finally caved in and paid for my procedures. Thanks to Dr.Olson. Olson Family Dentistry is one of few that you can personally call him 24/7 if you have an emergency.I highly recommend Olson family Dentistry.

When you need a great dentist and/or Orthodontist There was a time when the family dentist knew your name, and cared about you as an individual. At the turn of the century my childhood dentist, Dr. Scallon decided to retire. He was truly amazing and took great care of his patients. For a while I struggled to find the 'old fashioned', yet modern standard of care that made a real positive contribution when something as personal as your 'teeth' are concerned. Dr. Rees Olson in Placentia is a 2nd generation dentist who learned the caring values that were credited to his father. Living in what at one time were small towns, Placentia, Yorba Linda and Brea and all other OC cities used to be 'almost country' in social values and traditions. We knew our neighbors and took care of one another. Dr. Rees and team do just that. Dr. Rees last year referred me and my family to Dr. Curtis in Brea when at age 59 it was determined I would need braces. Since then our 15 year old has also received dental braces from Dr. Curtis and his team. Seriously, the best experiences you can ever have in knowledge, strategy, caring, and overall value.......Dr. Curtis and Dr. Olson are just what you would expect from a friend. They are simply the best in their chosen fields and surround themselves with the most talented teams in their profession in my opinion. There is no need to look for anyone else! Just pick up the phone and act today, they know how to make your smile the best it can possibly be.

Dr. Olson is kind, considerate, and very thorough. My child has clinical level generalized anxiety, and he and his staff are so wonderful that she has no problems going to her regular dental cleanings. Even when he had to remove two problem baby teeth, they put her at ease. My whole family uses their service. I can't recommend him more highly.

Poor bedside manners! Arrogant dentist thinks the world needs to bow down to him because he went to UCLA.. no one cares if you went to Yale, Harvard, USC.. learn how to apologize to your patients and work on being more human..

Dr. Olson is kind, considerate, and very thorough. It has been more than 12 years that I've been coming here and the years will keep going up. My oral care wasn't the best when I first started coming here, but Dr.Reese Olson and his staff have helped my oral heath become immaculate. I couldn't be more satisfied with olson family dentistry

Dr. Olson is the best! His staff is extremely friendly as well. I had work done by other dentists in the past, but unfortunately it didn't last, and Dr. Olson did an amazing job fixing all the problems. He took his time in order to do the work the right way the first time, which I really appreciated. He is also very professional and friendly too. His staff is always so nice, and even my 3 year old daughter looks forward to seeing Brenda at the front desk! I feel very confident that I finally have the best dentist and my teeth are in great hands with Dr. Olson.

Olson Family Dentistry is the only dental office I trust. Dr. Rees Olson is kind, honest, knowledgable, highly skilled and a detailed dentist. Like Dr. Rees Olson, his wonderful staff are also professional, patient and above all they sincerely care for their patients. I came across Olson Family Dentistry from a coworker's referral at a time when I needed a quality dentist and I am very thankful I was introduced to them. I travel a long way for my visits and I will continue to do so regardless of the distance for years to come. Highly recommended!

Today Dr. Rees Olson performed precision root canal surgery. Earlier this month I was asked to contact him by my wife following a botched 'root canal surgery' by a local endodontist/dentist group who will go unnamed. Dr. Rees took my initial call and consulted with me following that painful previous experience, without any advance notice. I was in his chair within 20 minutes after the call. He invested time to listen and understand. He planned out a cure/solution to the incredible pain I was experiencing. He provided immediate relief from the pain. He contacted me after the initial visit and before the surgery to see how I was doing. He and his office are exceptional at what they do. Special thanks also to his dental assistant Claudia for her work during the 3 hour procedure. Everyone there is so nice. I've had good dentists, and unfortunately a few bad (or not so good) along the way. If you want the experience of a master at his craft, and a true professional along the lines of the way dentistry should be practiced, you want and/or need Dr. Olson.

Well in a simple answer; I do believe I have found the best dentist out there. I am a 51 year old man who is definitely a "Teeth" guy. Meaning; I love my teeth and constantly notice other people's teeth. All this means is that I have been through my share of dentists throughout my life. I have had dentists that get "it" right in some ways, but never at every level that Dr. Olson does! From the initial phone conversation, the hygenist, the Dr. himself, the cleaning, the concern, the education, etc., etc. This place nails the "details" at every level! And I am a professional detailer with 30 years experience as a professional, and this dentist delivers an experience in the same manner that I do. Educating my customers so they can make informed decisions, and also taking the time to explain the "why" we do something, not just the "we do this and we do that" and "we are experts so take our word for it". I have never had a hygenists as personable as Jackie was/is. She is a doll! I will be sending all my family memebers to this dentist as he clearly cares about his patients and cares about his role in the equation. If I could give more "stars" as a rating I would!! And no; I recieved no special treatment in excahnge for this review. I just believe that when I recieve an exceptional experince (which is in rare form these days) I want people to know. I am tired of the chronic disappointment of business today.

I've been going to Dr. Rees Olson for over 10 years. You will not find a more thorough, skilled dentist. Every procedure he's done for me - fillings, crowns, root canals, cleanings - has turned out perfectly. He explains what he's doing and he is gentle. I couldn't recommend him any higher. His staff is also very helpful and exhibit the same high standards as Dr. Olson. There is a difference between decent dentistry and excellent dentistry. Dr. Olson is the best. I'll never go anywhere else!
