The receptionist is unprofessional. I was going to go there, but changed my mind. I'll stick to the quads for dental. First impressions are everything.

The receptionist was completely rude over the phone, and when I had my first appointment she wanted me to wait outside. With absolutely nobody in the lobby. It was freezing cold outside and I didn't have have a car or anywhere warm to wait so I left. She told me they accepted my insurance and when I handed over my card... they didn't accept it. What a complete waste of time.

This place is a scam. The dental assistant said everything looked great and she just needed the Dr. to come in and check me before I left. He comes in takes a 5 second look and says I need to come back in a week so he can take a better look at an area of concern.... I show up, he doesn't even say anything but starts numbing me... I'm like what is going on?! He said I had 2 cavities that he had to take care of..... Excuse me?! I have literally NEVER had a cavity my Whole Life!!! I had been seeing a different dentist for years and years that unfortunately went out of network. Saw her just 6 months earlier prior to seeing him and they always said how great my teeth were. Never once had a problem other than getting a cleaning. Even his own assistant said I was good!! I brush my teeth twice a day and floss every day. You're telling me that I developed 2 cavities in 6 months when I have never had Any issues ever before??? Yeahhhhhh, he's just trying to rack up the bill any way he can. Avoid this place at all costs!

I went in months ago to drop off my paperwork to become a new client. The receptionist was seriously unprofessional and had the worst attitude I've ever seen from a person who chose to work directly with the public. (I understand people have bad days, but from the reviews, most of her days must be terrible!) She treated me significantly different once I mentioned I was on state insurance. I looked online to find I was not the only one experiencing her bias outlook. Not only was she ill-mannered, I walked out fully knowing I was NOT getting an appointment. Being one of, if not the ONLY dentist in Muscatine that takes state insurance, you all need to do better. It's honestly embarrassing for the office, as a whole.

They treated me a lot differently because I was on state benefits. I felt like a nuisance to them.

I've only gone once, but my experience thus far has been excellent. The staff I dealt with was professional and very polite. I was scheduled right away, Suzanne was nice and was very gentle with my x-rays and cleaning. After the doc said I was good to go, I was out the door in like 35 minutes. It was amazing!

I've been going to Olson Family Dentistry for years now. Nate is a great at making recommendations for treatment plans and minimizing discomfort during procedures. He and his entire team are great and make you feel like family! I highly recommend Olson Family Dentistry to anyone!!!

I have had a total of three or four appointments, as a new patient, in the last two months. I can't tell you how much they have done for me. I was assessed, cleaned, had a mold made, all my upper teeth were pulled and I left with new (beautiful) ones, as well as having two cavities filled. I just really can't say enough about them! Highly recommended! Call. From that first conversation with that awesome receptionist, you'll understand. Thank you to all the staff! You guys are great- and greatly appreciated!

The actual dental assistants and dentist are great; super friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. But the receptionist is the rudest person I think I've ever met. I assumed that she may have been having a bad day the first time I called, but after the second, third, and fourth time followed by my first in person visit, I concluded that she's just a mean-spirited person. It makes every trip to the dentist semi-miserable despite the fact that everyone else in the office is a pleasure. Please get a new receptionist; the first person you interact with at a business really makes an impression.

Terrible customer service I had something come up and I called to reschedule and the receptionist refused to reschedule my appointment. She goes and i quote "we dont do that here" referring to rescheduleing I was completely offended because I was a new patient to this office and this would be my first time seeing this dentist very terrible customer service

We used another dental office in town for decades until the dentists retired, causing us to look for a new provider. We are very happy with all aspects of this office.

I have been going to Dr. Olson for several years now and he is great!! Along with all the staff, friendly, courteous, they treat you like family not just another appointment. Receptionist is very helpful at finding you the correct appointment time for your busy life. Highly recommend Olson Family Dentistry!!!

I never enjoyed going to the dentist before, but Dr. Olson and his staff have changed that for me. He is efficient and does great work. I found his staff to be very helpful. I consider it a rare find.

If you can afford to go somewhere else.. Go somewhere else! This place is awful and for those that gave them a 5 star rating has to either have created a new profile to do so or works there.. Honestly you can get better treatment and respect else where!!
