Recent visit based on their advertisement. X-rays, cleaning and exam for a advertised fee. Not criticizing their fees, however not as advertised. No one introduced themselves, have no idea to whom I was speaking to. No one would discuss my concerns, they left it up to the receptionist!!

I'm a new patient, I scheduled an appointment for Sept. 16 at 2 pm way in advance and I started getting email after email and text messages to confirm the appointment, which I did and I also provided x-rays from my other dentist. Then on the day of the appointment at 10 am I get a text saying that my insurance does not qualify. I had provided them all the information I possibly could days in advance and I myself even verified with my insurance that they were in network. My insurance Delta Dental PPO told me Dr. ERIC LEVINE and SAMANTHA RASEKH are in network but the Olney Dental Center's lady told me they were told I wasn't. So I called Delta Dental to verify again and I tried to set up a three way call with an Olney Dental Center lady who answered the phone but she refused. My insurance was willing to speak with her but she said she didn't want to deal with the "back and forth" so she said "we can not see you"... This after being bombarded with appointment reminders for about two weeks... Terrible customer service and a terrible experience. It would have taken her 30 seconds to talk to my insurance but the didn't want to deal with it

If you want to be billed fairly and correctly, DO NOT go to the Olney Dental Center. You will end up paying hundreds of dollars unfairly and they will do nothing to rectify the situation. I was a patient of theirs for 2 years, and on my very first visit for a teeth cleaning back in February 2020, I received a very high bill. At the time I didn't question the bill and simply paid the full $280. Then when I got my teeth cleaned again in 2021, I questioned why the bill was so high, since my plan was supposed to fully cover a teeth cleaning. I decided to call my insurance company, and it turns out that they were billing me as an out of network provider, even though they were in-network with my insurance company. This was a huge and expensive mistake on THEIR part. I called to let them know and asked to have the claim re-submitted. I was told multiple times it would be taken care of, and then when it wasn't, I was told to speak to the office manager Tonya. She assured me it would be looked into. Other members of the staff spoke with me multiple times and assured me they could and would re-submit the claim. I continued to call the office over the next few months, and each time I was given the run-around. Finally Tonya called me back and basically told me they would not re-submit the claim. I am now out nearly $300 that the Olney Dental Center basically stole from me. It is incredibly unacceptable that this dental office does not understand how to submit an insurance claim correctly. Jocelyn was an incredible hygienist, but I would never go back to her because I cannot afford to essentially pay out of pocket for a teeth cleaning just because their billing department is inefficient. In addition, my mom had a horrible experience where one of the dentists pressed full strength on a cracked molar and fractured it, causing her to have to have emergency oral surgery. All I can say is please stay away from this office at all costs.

Cleaning was good but issues with insurance are still not resolved 3 months later. I was told dentist was in network and when submitted to insurance they were out of network. I called several times and kept getting we are short staffed so we haven't had time to figure it out. Not the best way to treat patients.

I had a good experience with Dr Samantha Rasekh and her Assistant . Both of them, they work with high level of professionalism and caring for the best interest for the Patient. Definitely, I 'll keep doing my follow ups with them.

I was not happy with Olney Dental Center. My first and what will be my only visit was visit was underwhelming. The personalized care and attention to detail was not on par with other dentists, I had random additional charges on my bill I've tried to get answers to (with no response), and getting a response on anything besides scheduling your next appointment seems to get you ghosted.

I have been a customer of the Olney Dental Center for nearly 37 years. They have always done a great job on my teeth as well as my wife's and, until he went off to college, my son. They scrupulously cleans my teeth and attend to any cavities their exam detect.

This dentist office is by far the most welcoming, efficient and convenient offices I've gone to. Parking is never an issue and I'm always seen quickly and everyone is sooo nice! My hygienist, Kathy, is efficient and very friendly! I always leave with a smile on my face thanks to her. Will definitely be coming here for all my dental cleanings.

My 15 yo and I each had our first appointments at Olney Dental Center today. We are both delighted with the care we got at every step of the process. Everyone was both warm and professional. They explained everything really clearly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Thank you!!!

I'm terrified of the dentist. Dr. Ung and her assistant put up with my irrational fear and make me feel completely comfortable. I can't stress enough that they actually care about their patients, and that goes a really long way. Can't recommend enough.

Not happy to be charged $242.00 for less than ten minutes involved in re-cementing loose bridge. Excellent service but very expensive.

On my first visit back for routine cleaning and xrays (following an emergency extraction), I could not be more pleased, Efficiency, professionalism, friendliness, competence were on full display at all times. Dr Rasekh and Sandra saved my life 2 months ago, when a badly infected tooth/crown nearly put me into shock from pain. Their patience, kindness, and compassionate manner put me at ease and, my tooth was extracted with minimal pain, and I left the office a new woman. I highly recommend this practice to everyone seeking competent, reliable and professional dentistry

Two months ago I posted this review of a hygiene visit. See below for a new experience. I have enjoyed good dental care consistently in the past, so my expectations set a high bar. I arrived at 12:30 for my appointment and waited and waited to be greeted. I turns out hthe entire staff was having lunch in the back room. Throughout my appointment it sounded as if there were a party going on in another part of the office. It's nice to have a cheerful work environment, so I do not think hthis was out opf order--just unusual. Rachel is a professional hygienist with good credentials, lots of experience, and is personable. I did some research before posting this critique. Many patients speak highly of ultrasonic cleaning. My sister says she really likes it. My experience here was painful and uncomfortable. The hydrosonic treatment (something that has been a reasonably good experience in the past) was not this time. It was combined with a poorly placed suction device, so I felt pain and a drowning sensation simultaneously. I believe I got good treatment, though I wish it were more like previous dental offices and visits, which have consistenty produced very good results. More recently I paid another visit, for needed work previously diagnosed by Dr. Ung. To my surprise, I learned that Dr. Raseckh would be performingh the procedure. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Dr Raseckh has a pleasant manner, and she provides a detailed "play-by-play" explanation of what she is doing. She consulted with me on what she planned to do, and went about her business quickly and effectively. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a dentist, and upgrade my rating of Olney Dental Center from Three Stars to Four. A continued issue with their work is their tendency to "waterboard" their patients. It isncessary to spray water into the mouth as part of the procedure, but they tened not to be as good as they could at suctioning it out before it hits the back opf the throat. Dr. Raseckh's assistant did her best, but once again needs improvement.
