Dr. Fonseca is excellent, you are in the best of hands should you need her services. I was once rushed in a cab from one dentist office to hers because my dentist couldn't numb me properly. One look and she not only got me numb instantly but was able to complete the work easily. Her office is efficient and friendly although their attempts to give you an accurate total after insurance pays is usually off by hundreds...but it is an estimate I guess so what are you going to do.

Great root canal experience, seemingly suprise charges from pre-op appointment. Dr. Fonseca is great but make sure you double and triple check with the office for what you will be actually billed for and what your insurace covers. Make sure you get it on letterhead to avoid 'suprise' charges after you pay your balance.

Dr. Fonseca gave me the best possible experience one can have with a root canal. She was very gentle, checked in regularly to make sure I was okay, and the procedure was painless. Her staff was friendly and made sure I was comfortable - they brought me applesauce and water when I felt faint after receiving a shot of anesthesia. A couple Advil that night and I was good to go. I've recommended her to family and friends.

I had an old root canal that was incomplete -- resulted in dangerous infection. Asked 3 dentists -- regular, prosthodontist and oral surgeon. Two immediately suggested Dr. Fonseca for a re-treatment. So I asked the third and he said she was known for her retreatment of complicated root canals. It was very tricky -- I know because I have had 7 other root canals -- terrible teeth! Not only was she (and her staff) completely professional, she explained up front and as she went along. I really appreciated that.
