Dr. Kenneth Oleynik was born and raised in Shelton, Connecticut. He attended Fairfield College Preparatory School in Fairfield, Connecticut. After graduating from Prep, Dr. Ken enrolled at Tufts University. Hegraduated from Tufts University with a BS in Biology in 1980. Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Ken attended The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated in 1984. After graduating from UConn Dental, Dr. Ken began private practice with his father, Dr. Joseph W. Oleynik F.A.G.D.
In2005, Dr. Ken achieved the highest honor in the Academy of General Dentistry- Mastership (MAGD). This honor is attained by less than 5% of dentists and requires more than 1,100 hours of continuing education. This accomplishment demonstrates Dr. Kens focus on providing the best care for his patients. Dr. Ken is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.He is also aFellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy. This international honorary dental organization seeks to recognize and grow leaders in the dental profession, their communities and society.

Very happy with the care I received at Oleynik Dental, Dr Oleynik is very caring and compassionate. He described the treatment I needed in detail and even showed everything to me on my xrays. The staff is very nice and make you feel right at home.

The team at Oleynik Dental is the best you can get. Started going here after receiving recommendations from family and co-workers and have never looked back. Almost 5 years later, I have nothing but high praise for the practice. Very professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and honest.

Can I give 6 stars? This group is top notch. The office staff was courteous and quick. The hygienist (Stephanie) gave me the best cleaning I've had in years, I just loved her. I have some pretty tender gum areas and she was so gentle and thorough - I had no discomfort at all. Dr. Ken was thorough and friendly. I can't commend this practice enough. I'm actually looking forward to going back in 6 months.

I have been coming to this practice for many years and I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the area. Dr. Ken takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and answers any questions I may have. He even takes time to get to know me, not just my teeth. I've been going to the Oleyniks for years, since I was 6 or 7. Just moved to Texas and I'm seriously going to miss having the best dentist around. I may have to try to get appts when I come back to CT for the holidays to visit family. It' a small, cozy office and everyone is super friendly and good at what they do. If you're looking for a family place where you can get to know everyone, this is the place for you. My whole family goes here and have been doing so for 30+ years. I already miss it.

He is very honest, thorough, caring and gentle, and, both he and his hygienist Irina are always very professional. From the moment you walk through the doors of their office, you are greeted with a very friendly, warm and inviting environment. Fantastic service - from the front desk, who always helps to manage any insurance issues, to the dentist and hygienist-who are both friendly and thorough. Doctor Oleynik is the dentist you can trust. My family has been going to him for over 15 years. He is very dedicated and passionate about his work, explains everything thoroughly and most importantly does a high quality job that lasts forever. He would never recommend an unnecessary procedure and truly cares about your oral health. The entire office staff is absolutely amazing, they treat you like family. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Highly recommend!
