After dental school, Dr. Kang completed a hospital-based dental residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. To enhance her role in her patients oral health, Dr. Kang earned a Master of Public Health degree in Health Behavior Health Promotion before obtaining her Master of Science and certificate in the specialty of Orthodontics.

In addition to private practice, Dr. Kang supervised pediatric dental residents Columbus Nationwide Childrens Hospital as an attending doctor. Dr. Kang regularly attends continuing education to stay abreast of the latest developments and research in orthodontics and has, herself, published research in journals including the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, Journal of Esthetic Dentistry, Journal of Esthetic Restorative Dentistry and Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Kang lives in Columbus, Ohio with her husband where she follows the Buckeyes and Cleveland sports while caring for their two rescue cats (Yes, she brushes their teeth daily). Dr. Kang also participates in a trap-alter-release program to help control the feral cat population in the community.

Nicole has more than 10 years of experience both as a dental assistant and orthodontic assistant.She can put any anxious patient at ease with her friendly personality and ability to explain the steps of your orthodontic treatment. In her free time, Nicole enjoys working out and spending time with her husband, three sons, and two dogs.

Mike is our backup and wears many hats in our office. You might find him at the front desk welcoming patients, working in the lab, cleaning, or sterilizing instruments. He looks after our office maintenance, equipment repairs/upgrades, and he created this web site.

Mikes an engineer with an additional background in chemistry/biochemistry research. He played a big part in sourcing critical sanitation supplies/equipment and developing processes that help us operate safely during the pandemic. In his spare time, hes probably at our office.
