Kathy was born and raised in Aynor, South Carolina and is a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with 25 years experience. She enjoys working in dentistry because she gets to help so many people. Kathy is also a passionate motorcyclist and loves to spend as much of her off-time as possible riding. So far she and her boyfriend have ridden across 20 states on motorcycle and plan to visit many more.
Dr. Robert Merritt received his DMD degree from MUSC in 2005 after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of South Carolina in 2001. Spending his childhood growing up as a native of Myrtle Beach, Dr. Merritt decided to return home to practice dentistry after graduating dental school. Dr. Merritt is a member of the ADA, SCDA and the Grand Strand Dental Society. He is also a past participant of Give Kids A Smile, Dental Access Days and a delegate for the SCDA. Above anything else Dr. Merritt enjoys how the practice of dentistry enables him to help people by giving them a healthy smile.

Tracy and Dr. Merritt and his staff have been the consummate professionals for the many years I have been going there. I would highly recommend them.

I was assured before making the appointment that my insurance would cover the everything. That wasn't correct and now they're sending me bills and threatening my credit rating. Keep away from this terribly dishonest dentist.
