Dr Lori Burchell and her amazing staff are a true asset to dental care in the Tampa Bay area. I have been a patient here for over 20 years. This is not just a routine dental practice. Dr Burchell straightened my teeth!! Dr and staff spent several months on this and the result is spectacular. Her cosmetic skills are second to none! I really missed them after my frequent visits were over. Definitely painless and love going there.

Dr. Burchell and the staff at Oldsmar Dentistry are fantastic. Over the course of multiple visits they made the visits as pleasant an experience as possible. The Dr. explained what she was doing as she completed several procedures and was extremely attentive to keeping me comfortable. My family and I trust Oldsmar Dentistry and will continue to see Dr. Burchell for our dental care.

Wonderful experience I had getting my teeth checked at the office of Dr. Lori Burchell of Oldsmar Dentistry. For me this was one of the best visits I have had with a dentist ever ! They were did a complete check of everything plus a 1st class cleaning - all at a reasonable price! Thank you Dr Lori!

I've been a patient here for 6 years, and I absolutely loved the former doctor who transformed my life with a crown that gave me my confidence back! As the former doctor retired, I decided to stay because I trusted that the work ethic, fair and respectful treatment of patients would continue. Unfortunately that was not the case. The first mishap happened when I was billed for a $50 exam I didn't actually have during my periodontal maintenance. I had not double checked this charge until I was already on my way home, and upon calling the office they told me they had charged me for an exam I didn't have and they wouldn't be able to refund it but they could put it on my account for me to use towards a future bill. That was fine, because I'm a flexible person. I saved the voicemail they had left me confirming that the $50 would be saved to my account and moved on. After my next periodontal appointment when they sent me the invoice in the mail, I called to inquire why the $50 wasn't taken off the bill and they had NO IDEA what I was talking about. I had to argue with them, explain the situation, and arrived late to work in the morning to try to clear this up. Finally, I decided to send them the voicemail I was left by the office for proof of my situation. After giving me so much trouble and frankly a poor attitude, I wasn't even given an apology for their mistake. I overlooked this because it was taken care of in the end. At my next appointment, I was scheduled for my usual periodontal maintenance. I was in the chair with the hygienist, when the doctor entered and said she had to look at my mouth. I was NOT told this minute and a half (at most) exam, would be billed to my insurance at nearly $40. I didn't receive a single x-ray, which I would have happily paid a $200 out of pocket for. I was not told at any point during my appointment that day that I would be charged for that "exam". Upon receiving this invoice in the mail, I called the office and spoke to Ariel who was extremely understanding of my frustration and explained to me that the insurance company covered that $40 cost, but as I have later found out because of that covered less of my actual periodontal maintenance that I was scheduled for that day. Ariel kindly told me she would have the office manager call me back the next week, which never happened. Multiple weeks have passed by and unfortunately I was not contacted, except for another invoice in the mail explaining the charges again, which I already understood. When I called this morning to ask why I never received a phone call about this situation, I was given the most disrespectful and condescending response from the office manager. While I was explaining that I understand the charges, she decided it was best to interrupt me and ask me "Ok, but did you see the doctor that day?". I wasn't scheduled to see the doctor, I didn't ask to see the doctor, I wasn't told you're going to see the doctor and this is the almost $40 charge for 90 seconds of her time. So after years of coming to this office, I've canceled my future appointments and will not be coming back to an office that I can't trust to 1. Listen and understand the situation, 2. Bill/note correctly when there is an overcharge on an account that is to be used in the future, 3. Inform me about additional services that are added on while I'm already sitting in the chair, that were not scheduled or asked for. I never thought this office would be one of those dentist offices that become hungry for money, rather than treat their patients with respect. This is a place I thought had the patients happiness and health in mind. I've spent thousands of dollars here, between an almost 2 thousand dollar crown for an implant, to a veneer, to an $800 4 quadrant deep cleaning procedure. I've always trusted these folks to tell me what I need and never felt taken advantage of. After the negative experiences and the unprofessional, condescending attitude I was given, this is not a place I can trusts to treat their patients fairly and that is certainly my #1 priority.

I would like to share my experience with Dr. Lori Burchell and her staff....especially Jasmine (Arianna?) and Sharry. I have always had pretty decent teeth, however because of medications I've been taking that cause severe dry mouth, my front top and bottom teeth....but especially the top 4 front teeth had progressively begun to decay and crumble. My previous dentist had retired and truth be told....was really not very good. I finally had enough one day and just googled top dentists in the Tampa Bay Area. Oldsmar Dentistry was in the top 2. I called them and explained my situation. Jasmine (Arianna?) could sense how insecure and embarrassed I was. She was so kind and patient and put me right at ease. I made an appointment for a consultation with Dr. Burchell. Dr. Burchell examined me (no charge) and was also very kind but very honest, and she could also sense how insecure and embarrassed I was. I had an instant connection and knew she was going to be able to help me. I made an appointment for a full set of dental x-rays so Dr. Burchell knew for sure what she was dealing with. That brings me to today (11/12/2018). I had the x-rays done this morning. Dr. Burchell also took pictures of the front and back of all of my teeth and she explained every single detail to me. She made up a treatment plan and also explained it in detail. She wanted to focus on the worst part first...my top 4 front teeth. She checked her schedule and said she could fit me in this afternoon if I could come back. She said she could fix the 4 top front teeth and have me in temporary crowns by the end of the appointment. I obviously said yes and went back this afternoon. All I can think to say is that Dr. Burchell is an angel!!! Sharry and Dr. Burchell took the utmost care to make sure I was comfortable and wasn't in any pain. In 3 hours Dr. Burchell took my crumbling, awful front teeth, and transformed them. I cannot wait to see the new crowns, if the temporaries look this good. I cannot thank her and her staff enough for all of their expertise, patience, and kindness. She is by far....the best dentist I have ever been to in my 53 years. I cannot recommend her highly enough....as I said....she is an angel!!! Thank you Dr. Burchell and staff for restoring my smile and my confidence!!! Sincerely, Holly Kirchgessner
