Dr. Maxwell Oldham is a native Austinite and is excited to be back in the Kyle area! He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he graduated valedictorian of his dental school. Subsequently, he chose to complete his orthodontic residency at the well respected and renowned University of Oklahoma orthodontic program.
Dr. Oldham received a multitude of awards for clinical and educational excellence during his training. In fact, he was selected to receive the prestigious Kramer Award, which is awarded to the dentist who shows the greatest potential for future advancement of the profession and service to others. Dr. Oldham also earned the Storey Award during his training, which is awarded to one student per year for excellence in the field of orthodontics. Upon graduating, Dr. Oldham was elected by faculty members into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, which was created in 1914 for dentists who distinguish themselves by a high grade of scholarship and character.
Dr. Oldham is an avid learner and is up to date on the latest technology and innovations. He uses the best, most patient friendly techniques with outstanding results. Dr. Oldham also stays active within a variety of dental professional organizations and takes many continuing education courses.
It was in San Antonio that he met his beautiful wife Olivia. Dr. Oldham currently lives with her in Kyle, Texas. In his free time, Dr. Oldham enjoys playing tennis, soccer (which he played in college), hiking with his wife, helping out at his local church, and rooting on the Texas Longhorns! Hookem! When Olivia Oldham is not serving her community, she is at her husbands office, helping him achieve his dream of creating beautiful everlasting smiles for his patients. I am so glad we found Oldham Family Orthodontics. Dr. Oldham is so knowledgeable and you can tell he loves what he does. Our son has Invisalign and we couldn't be any happier with the process. They really deserve a 10 star rating! Olivia and the office staff are also so nice and accommodating to our busy work/school schedules. They definitely make you feel like family.

Amazing! I'm a new patient and everything was so fast and thorough. Glad to say they will be helping me for the next two years or so! Samantha was amazing and I truly enjoyed talking to her about our entire life history in five minutes. Dr. Oldham and Ms. Olivia were so nice and understanding.

I am currently preparing for double jaw surgery next year, and it's definitely not an easy process. I have braces for a year, then surgery, then braces for about a year after that. It's definitely scary to go through as it's a really intense surgery and a very life changing thing. But I am so thankful for the Oldhams, they have gone above and beyond for me. I went in last year after severe TMJ pains and noticing my cross bite getting worse. I googled orthodontists in the area, and saw great reviews for Oldham Family Orthodontics. I had a not great experience with my orthodontist as a kid, and was nervous to have a similar experience this time around. Olivia and Dr. Oldham were just amazing off the bat! They were so welcoming even at my first appointment. I appreciated that Dr. Oldham was honest in my consultation with him, and let me know only surgery would fix my issue. He recommended a great surgeon for me, as well as a lovely dentist office in the area I could go to before I was cleared for braces. I got my braces about a month and a half ago here and have had the best experience you can possibly have getting braces as an adult! Olivia is so sweet and it's always lovely to chat with her when I go in for appointments, and Dr. Oldham has made this whole process a lot easier. I cannot recommend this practice enough. I am so happy I have the Oldhams on my side as I go through this journey!

Dr. Max, Olivia, and their team have created an office environment that is warm and welcoming. The Kyle community is lucky to have them. The care they provide is high-quality, cutting edge, personalized and professional. We plan to continue to use this office for a long, long time.

Great customer service! My kids and I felt welcomed as soon as I walked through the door by the sweet receptionist. Very modern and state of the art office. Kids felt comfortable and the doctor was great with them! Very glad I was recommended to come here by some friends who are in treatment here.

My brother started Invisalign at Oldham Family Orthodontics and it was going so well that I started as well. Easy and convenient appointments. Clean office. You can tell that Dr. Oldham is very knowledgeable, and I love the Invisalign he customized for me. Whole staff is really friendly too.

Wow, definitely glad I decided to bring my child here! They are so nice and accommodating, they have always been there for us since we got started with her braces. They even saw us on a late night before a vacation to make sure she was taken care of, Dr. O and his staff are truly one of a kind!

I'm so grateful that I found Oldham Family Orthodontics. I never had braces as a child and I never wanted to smile or show my teeth. In my 50's I thought I'd look into it. I was excited about picking different rubber bands for my braces. Dr Oldham suggested aligners and I am so pleased. I'm on my 8th "tray". Incredible results! Dr. Oldham and his wife, Olivia are professional and thorough, they are always available to answer my questions and have encouraged me throughout this process. I have long put off getting braces to fix my bite and I was very apprehensive to even get braces due to my age. Dr. Oldham and his staff made me feel right at home during my initial visit. Their assistant Olivia was super sweet and they were very professional the whole time. They had excellent service and they really care about you as an individual! Glad I got my braces journey started and that I finally am going to get my bite fixed.

I had an amazing visit. The staff are super nice, knowledgeable, and professional! The facility is clean and equipped with some of the best technology. I highly recommend this location above all else in the area for orthodontics care and questions. They are even open on Saturdays!

I went to Dr. Oldham for a second opinion after getting a very high bill from another orthodontist. Not only was his price fair but he has all the latest technology. Great office and staff, can't wait for my girlfriend to come get treatment here too!
