Dr. Hunley majored in Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville before pursuing his dental education at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry at Memphis. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Alabama Dental Association.
Dental AssistantMelissa attended the Accelerated Dental Assisting Academy and has received her CPR certification. She is known around the office for her smile and ability to handle pressure well. She loves going to the gym, riding four wheelers, and is obsessed with her dog, Ace.

This staff is amazing!! I've been coming here since i was a little kid and it's never a disappointment. Mrs. Val is the best ever. Dr. Sawyer is amazing and Ashley, the dental hygienist, is sweet and funny and tells you how it is! Norma is great also! Come see these amazing ladies, you won't regret it!!

The appointment was fast and efficient, and everyone in the office seemed knowledgeable. Most of the employees were willing to wear a mask when asked (even though cdc regulations don't currently call for one) but one told me they would not pull it up over their nose until we started as it's not required anymore.

We have been going to Old Towne dentist since we moved to Helena. It is so convenient. The real reason we go to them is they are so nice! I hate going to the dentist and get so anxious when I go. If the staff isn't nice and caring I just will not go. But I don't have to worry about that at Old Towne Dentist, because I have never had a bad experience there.

Both of my boys go to Old Town Dental in Helena They really enjoy it. They don't dread going like they did at the previous place! They are 12 and 13, so to get them to like the dentist is a Win Win. From the receptionist to the dentist, everyone is friendly and very helpful. Great Job guys! See y'all in 6 months.

Very friendly staff. Made me feel right at home. Very professional. Explained everything to me and did a great job. Hygienist was very good. Receptionist was also very sweet and professional. I highly recommend Old Town Dental

We swapped to Old Town Dental from a much larger dental group in town and were very glad with our decision. Not only are you supporting a small business, but you feel welcomed like your family when you walk in on your first visit. They were all super friendly, very assertive, and seem to really care about their patients. We would recommend them to anyone especially if you want a good cleaning without sore gums afterwards. If you give them a try you will be glad you did.

I love this dental practice. EVERYONE is sooooo kind, respectful, genuinely concerned, thorough, gifted, and helpful. They go above and beyond the call of duty. Dr. Lucas takes time to explain every step of what will occur, the pros and cons, the possibilities if you do or don't do certain things,how to repair damage already done and always encourages me that if something goes awry after care to make sure I call. They are not just concerned about getting money and moving on to the next patient. He genuinely wants to assure that you are ok. I had one procedure that was bothering me a month or two later and he stopped to fix it immediately after I shared. This is a hometown practice with royalty status care. If you truly want to be cared for, visit them.
