This is the best Dentist office I've ever been to! I needed an emergency root canal done because the pain was very severe... I called them around 9am and they had me in by 11am. The dentist and staff were very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this place over any other.

I've been a patient of Dr. Zavala's for a very long time. I had an appt the other day and haven't been in a long while. When I made the appt, I gave my insurance info (was told they take it) and expressed my concern w/ a crown and also needed an exam and cleaning. The girl also didn't mention the crown issues in her notes so Dr Z didn't know about it. I'm not very happy after the appt when I'm told they don't take my insurance and I'm stuck w/ a $455 for my cleaning. My card doesn't mention HMO. First of all, when I've made appts anywhere in the past from dental to medical they at least tell me if I'm in/out of network. They should of ran it prior to me coming in. Their answer is..I guess you'll just have to get care credit. I'm already struggling right now financially and trying to keep my CC score up. I can't be applying for care credit right now. I'm really turned off now from visiting this place other than that Dr. Zavala you've been great.

From the front office to the back, Old Settlers Dental is the place to go for excellent care and service. Having been in the dental field for almost 30 years, I was paranoid about finding someone in town to help me with a broken crown. Dr Lewcock and his team were wonderful and I would highly recommend the office. Very professional, clean, and it's obvious from the treatment you receive that they take pride in being a great office and keeping up with the latest technology. My best friend in California has been my regular dentist since 1996, so this change was hard, but Dr Lewcock and Ana made my exam and crown preparation visits very comfortable and super easy. My hygiene appointment was just as wonderful and easy. You can rest assured that you'll be getting excellent treatment from a highly skilled dentist and caring team at Old Settlers.

The staff are great, informative and help with various plans, financing and appointments. Dr. Lewcock is great and thorough on every visit, often answering questions and providing guidance when needed. I look forward to my cleanings and invisalign updates. Cant wait to do other smile related procedures :D

Wanted to come to this dentist really badly as I'm new to the area. Called to get scheduled and they couldn't get me in for two weeks due to a "corporate event" that they aren't able to work for an entire week for. Meanwhile they leave potential patients and current patients with no one in office. I respect hard working people that always take care of their customers and this just doesn't fit the standard. At least leave someone in office to handle patients. What if an emergency arises. Think about this before you give your business to a company that can close for a week with no care of the possible consequences to their current patients and inability to care for new patients while OOO.

I would have given 0 if there was one. I went for preventive Check up. They confirmed there will be no cost on me.I provided them X ray and didn't get any cleaning done.I asked them in advance to confirm with my insurance. After a month of my visit then sent me a bill. They were so rude when I asked them to clarify why they sent the bill even after confirmation of no cost to me. They have become greedy. Front desk made so many excuses and refused to clarify the things. They all tell different rules.They are doing a lot of cheating. When we say we will review about this. Front desk woman Michael was very rude and said do whatever you want to do. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. They buy reviews don't go on their fake reviews.

My husband had an appointment at old settlers dental Round rock dentist. when he came home, he said he had the worst experience he's ever had at a dentist office. He is most easy going non complaining person. He was treated so poorly. People are rude there. They just waste your time by photography. very bad service. Worst staff ever. Won't recommend for anyone.

Dr. Zavalas is great. Gentle. Talks you through every step. And ensures you are comfortable and pain free. Highly recommend him !

The office staff here is phenomenal! I am truly thankful that I found Dr. Zavala several years ago. My most recent visit occurred after my second Retainer also broke. I remembered from the last time when my other one broke how important it is to get it replaced quickly before my teeth begin to move around and ruin all of the hard work done to get them straightened. When I called I had the pleasure of speaking with a beautiful soul named Crystal. She could hear the panic and worry in my voice and she quickly calmed me down and told me not to worry and that they would take care of me, and that they certainly did. Crystal explained to me that all that may need to be done would be something quite simple and that she would verify things and get back with me to let me know. One thing to understand is that they really weren't even open for normal business as when I called it was still part of the Christmas holiday and they were only in the office taking care of some administrative duties. Crystal called me back quickly to inform me that I could come in and get seen with Espy. When I got to the office I was met and welcomed in by Crystal and Brittany and then by Espy. Espy took me back, explained to me that all she needed to do was to get a quick scan of my teeth so she could get me set up with another Retainer. She was quick, gentle and explained every step of the way, in addition to consistently checking on me to make sure I was ok which I was. Espy is so friendly and easy going and she maintains an admirable level of professionalism at the same time. It's difficult for me to express the caring and the kindness of all of these ladies. This meant so much to me and the importance of being able to get in and be seen so quickly in what was a dental urgency to me meant even more. The actions of everyone here speaks volumes as does their dedication to service. Dr. Zavala gave me my lovely smile and he has passed on his expertise in caring for his patients to the rest of his staff. The atmosphere here is warm and I felt welcomed, wanted as a patient and cared about. Kudos to Crystal, Espy and Brittany!! [and you too Dr. Zavala :)!!]

Scheduling an appointment is easy with their online tools and quick response. The office is very nice and the staff certainly go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. This is the first dental office I've been a patient at that I don't have one single complaint. I'm very happy my family and I are patients here.

Old settlers dental is happily my new dentist! I went to another dentist that was going to charge me thousands of dollars but here they are able to do all the same work for under $300! The office staff was very courteous and the Dentist was kind and gentle! Highly recommend!

We've been coming here for about seven years. Staff is always polite and professional. My kids look forward to going to the dentist, yup, it's true. We moved and I'm willing to make the 30min+ drive to come here.

I have been going to Old Settlers Dental since they opened shop years and years ago. Dr Zavala is caring, informative, and has superb dental skills. The staff is supportive and friendly. I have referred friends and all have reported a similar positive experience. It's February 2021 and the report is the same: 5 stars true and true.

The office assured me that we would not have to pay out-of-pocket for services, but then charged us over $100 for their services after already collecting $140. They refused to negotiate a lower cost. I wouldn't recommend this dentist to anyone.

I am a new client at Old Settlers Dental Care. My experience on both of my recent visits has been incredible! I must be upfront, I am petrified of the dentist and Covid-19 has some people worried about a visit to the dentist office. I can tell you first hand the office staff, hygienists and Dr. Lewcock are on top of this issue. Their protocols are well thought out and I never felt any apprehension. So go to their office and get your dental work taken care of, your teeth will thank you! Dr. Lewcock is a gifted dentist! I worked with Michelle, Lisa and most recently, Holly. Dr. Lewcock and his team are professional, knowledgeable in state of the art dentistry and very client oriented. I am so glad I made the switch to Dr. Lewcock and his team.
