John Freeman, DMD is the son of Dr. Mark Freeman, founder of Dr. Freeman and Associates, which later became Old Dominion Family Dental. Dr. Freeman was born and raised in the Richmond area and graduated from Bridgewater College in 2014. In 2019, Dr. Freeman received a doctoral from Tufts University in Boston. In 2019, Dr. Freeman and his wife, also a Richmond native, moved back into the area and Dr. Freeman began practicing at Old Dominion Family Dental in August of 2019. In his free time, Dr. Freeman enjoys traveling with his wife, golfing, and taking care of his lawn.
Courtney attended Trinity Episcopal and then studied at James Madison University. After graduation, Courtney attended the Medical College of Virginia School of Dental Hygiene and graduated in 1982. She worked for several different offices in the Richmond area before starting with Dr. Freeman in 1994. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and relaxing with her family at Lake Gaston.
Jenn began working with Old Dominion Family Dental in 2020. She received her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2011. Prior to Dental Hygiene school, Jenn served four years in the United States Air Force with two deployments to the Middle East. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her husband, two daughters, and two Jack Russells. Jenn can usually be found hiking somewhere in the mountains and loves photography.
Sara graduated from the dental hygiene program at Virginia Western Community College in 2021 and started working at Old Dominion Family Dental shortly thereafter. Prior to studying dental hygiene, she received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Criminology while attending Longwood University. In her spare time, she can be found binge-watching her favorite tv shows and referencing them on a daily basis. Sara also enjoys spending time with her family, boyfriend (CJ), and their dog Gigi.
Christie is a native of RVA. After graduating from Trinity Episcopal, she attended Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia. It was here, in the pursuit of her Biology Degree, that she first met her future husband, Dr. Mark Freeman, our late founder of Old Dominion Family Dental. After her children left home for college, Christie began her career as a Dental Assistant at our office.
Isis began working with Old Dominion Family Dental in 2020. She is a recent graduate of J. Sergeant Reynolds Dental Assisting Program and enjoys providing an efficient and thorough experience for all patients. When shes not working, she enjoys roller skating and taking road trips with family and friends.
Adrienne has grown up in the Short Pump area and calls it home. After graduating from St.Gertrude High School she began her career in the dental field as a patient coordinator in 2004.She then went on to J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College and completed her phlebotomycertification. She worked at Chippenham Hospital for a time and loved caring for the patientsbut realized she loved working in the dental atmosphere more. Adrienne began working at ouroffice in February of 2018. As our office manager, she helps patients understand treatmentprocedures, their insurance policies, and billing. Adrienne is very much a people person andloves interacting with all of our patients so that they feel welcome, comfortable and always see asmile when they walk in the door. At home she and her husband Ben of 15 years, keepthemselves busy trying to keep up with their 2 teenage daughters, 8 year old son and 4 dogsand are always planning that next Disney vacation.

This office was recommended to me by a friend. Didn't disappoint. Office staff is lovely. Sara is a great hygienist, and I'm looking forward to working with Dr Freeman. Felt super relaxed, and they explained everything to me. That means a lot.Communication A+! Thanks for a great visit.

I was very scared of going to a centrist everyone at old Dominion was super friendly and helpful and made my experience easy. I would recommend them.the staff really cares and Dr Freeman makes u feel at ease when he is working on your teeth. They are just wonderful!!

This is the best place in the entire world for the Dentist Office. The Staff Totally Awesome, you feel totally relaxed with them, homely! The Dr, Doc Freeman is a God send to me one of the greatest ever! When he's taking care of you, you automatically feel like you don't have a care in the world. Everyone should have a Great Dentistry like Old Dominion PERIOD!!!

I have been a patient of "Dr. Mark Freeman & Associates" for the last two decades. Dr. Freeman made you feel comfortable in the patient seat and talked you through any treatment making sure there were no sudden surprises. The entire staff always makes you feel welcome to the point that it feels like you are visiting family and not just some doctor office. My children also love Dr. Freeman and my oldest schedules are visits around coming home from college. I am so glad that Dr. John Freeman continues the practice from his father. While some of the staff have changed over the years and the name is now "Old Dominion Family Dental" the quality of service and the friendliness of staff has remained the same, or improved with new technologies being brought to the chair. I have often recommended Dr. Freeman, and will continue to do so, to anyone looking for an AWESOME dentist!

I have been going to the practice since I was a child, I'm now in my 30's. The staff is wonderful to work with and treats you like family. They work hard to build an oral plan that is right for you. They are thorough in explaining what to do at home in-between appointments and give great take-home kits. Every employee I have encountered over the years has been great to work with. I always recommend Old Dominion Family Dental to friends, family, and colleagues.

Old Dominion Family Dental is the absolute BEST ! I am 53 years old and have never had a positive experience in a dental office. Dr. John Freeman was the absolute best. He calmed all my fears, was patient, friendly, trustworthy, and overall just the absolute best. If you are looking for a dentist I suggest that you give them a call. You will not regret it. I have never left a dental office with a smile on my face until now.
