An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I had a wonderful experience with the team at Olathe West Dentistry. I had complex dental repairs that needed to be performed and Dr Anstead Fechner and her team were professional, thorough, compassionate and efficient. Everyone from the front desk staff, to the administrator that handles finances, the technicians, hygienists and doctor were amazing, and I truly can't thank them enough for their work.

I am super nervous about dentists based on past experience. I went to the good folks here and they made feel completely at ease and spent the time to explain options and answered all my questions. They handled stuff with my insurance better than any DR office I have ever been in. Dr Robert Fechner did a great job and is a great human. Tran did a great job making me feel at ease as well...as well as the office staff. I didnt catch her name but the very kind lady who helped with the insurance was very good.

Dr.Bing she is very knowledgeable and friendly she help me to get my wisdom teeth removed very quickly. Really good experience, I highly recommended!

I have had some dental issues that couldn't be fixed by my previous dentist. I find this staff to be extremely skilled and friendly. They take the time to explain and then follow-up. I am very pleased with this group.

I was having a lot of tooth pain, and was recommended Olathe West to get looked at, I have a lot of Trauma with the dentist as a child and I was very nervous now as an adult of 29. BUT Dr.Bing and the team were the most FRIENDLIEST and UNDERSTANDING team from a dentist office I have ever met, they worked with my Financial needs and then took care of my tooth that needed to come out immediately the next day. They didn't get annoyed by all my questions and encouraged me the entire step of the way during the dental Extraction. I highly recommend them, I won't be going anywhere else but there for now on, because of how relax and welcoming they were. I cannot express how much I appreciate that.

Traveled 60 miles to be talked to like I'm crazy because I didn't know what "Patient Portal "meant .The front desk staff kept repeating "Patient Portal " to clarify the phrase. 6 TIMES. Can't just tell me that the "Patient Portal " is the electronic version for paperwork for the intake process. Asshats.... To the "Owner " Thank you for for the offer, but the two females at the front desk soured my desire to put my meager earnings in your pocket. Post script. Your office manager who made my appointment was kind and empathic.

I have had dental appointments at this location 3 times. Each experience has been negative. The office staff is always rude. They continue to mix up my file with my husband. They leave rude phone messages. They over bill for services and I see like 4 or 5 people just to get my teeth cleaned. Not going back. I added this review 2 other times, and they delete it!!!

I have been a patient here for years. I recently tried to schedule an appointment for a crown and I was informed I would have to pay a $100 deposit just to schedule an appointment. I have never had to pay a deposit in the past for any work. Seems very sketchy. Beware!!

The doctors and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. As someone who does not enjoy going to the dentist, the team at Olathe West Dentistry makes it more enjoyable. All of the processes and procedures have been thoroughly explained and all my questions answered. I would highly recommend coming here to anyone!

The staff is amazing! They are so welcoming and caring made me feel so comfortable. I have sever panic attacks normally but Dr. Stacy Anstead Fechner was incredible the whole procedure making sure I was comfortable! Dr Stacy made sure I was understood all my options and the recommended the best for what would suit me. Cannot recommend them anymore they are incredible!

Amazing staff & care. Amanda & Dr. Fechner completed my work well under the allowed appt time with fantastic results. Great bedside manner!!! Relaxed atmosphere which helps to calm the nerves.

I've had appointments canceled a lot but that might just be bad luck (ob visits, snow storms, doctors out of office). Overall, the service here is great and everyone is friendly. I don't like the dentist and they go out of their way to make me feel comfortable.

I love Olathe West Dentistry. I got my cleaning done by Jimena and my teeth feel super clean and amazing!!! I've seen Dr. Fechner and Dr. Anstead for my exam and they both are very friendly, thorough, knowledgeable and have excellent patient care. They answer all the questions that I have. My son also sees Dr. Chidsey for his cleaning as well. This office also has an oral surgeon and periodontist. They have all the specialists in one office, which is really helpful and amazing. I highly recommend anyone to this office. 10/10
