We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are cheque, cash, debit, credit cards and Care Credit.
Dr. Karl Breuckmann was born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri. In fact, his dad still live in the same home where he grew up. After graduating salutatorian of his high school, Dr. Breuckmann attended the University of Missouri - Columbia. He graduated with honors from Mizzou with a degree in Biochemistry.
In addition to his teaching duties at UMKC, Dr. Breuckmann also served as an associate dentist in private practice, caring for patients in both Sweet Springs, MO and Higginsville, MO. Furthermore, Dr. Breuckmann chose to serve his country as a Captain in the United States Air Force Reserve. He was stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base. Dr. Breuckmann quite enjoyed his time in the Air Force, once spending two weeks in El Salvador on a humanitarian mission.
To keep current in dentistry, Dr. Breuckmann spends over 30 hours each year in continuing dental education. In addition to his work with local dental study clubs, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, and the Fifth District Dental Society of Kansas.
Dr. Breuckmann has four very active kids, two girls and two boys. He enjoys watching his children participate in premier soccer and competitive gymnastics. Dr. Breuckmann truly enjoys playing golf in his free time. He is a true sports fan, enjoying just about every sport out there. Dr. Breuckmann is a Chiefs season ticket holder and has been to every Royals home opener since 1995!
Shelly is our financial coordinator and has been with us for over eight years! She grew up in Burlington Kansas and moved to the KC area in 1985. She has been in the dental field since 1985. She has been married to her husband for 34 years and has two adult sons, Brandon and Sean. In her free time she loves to watch basketball, soccer, football, baseball and about any other sport. She love the Chiefs, Royals, Jayhawks, and Sporting KC. Shelly has a two year old Shih Tzu, Callie, who she adores.

Dr. Breuckmann and his staff, especially Heather, were amazing today. They got me in for an appt quickly. They were friendly, reassuring, attentive, informative, and not aggressive with the recommended treatment. All of these attributes matter and made a huge difference! Highly recommend. I only regret not coming here years ago.

I have nothing but great things to say about this office. From the ladies up front, to Doc Breukmann himself, and all the girls in between (Especially Sarah!). After suffering some facial trauma as a young adult, I was given no other choice than an upper denture, when the partial I had made my existing teeth worse from rubbing. It never fit right from the beginning, and looked awful. I recently got my new upper from this office and for once in 16 years, I can look in the mirror and not be reminded of what I went through. They're beautiful! The whole process, while not as fast as some places, was so worth it. I can't thank them enough.

Very awesome!!! BEST dental experience my 3 children have ever had. Way better than a past "pediatric dentist" we've been going to since my eldest was small. I was duped with the term "pediatric dentIst" and toys and the whole kid environment. PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR CHILDREN... don't get duped with the term "pediatric dentist". DR. Breuckmann & Ross, DDS and dental hygienists and staff are gifted. They have the gift to put my traumatized 4 yr old at ease to go to the dentist again. No tears or fears anymore and they even got xrays which was the traumatic experience he had with the "pediatric dentist" we've been going to. God blessed the hygienists and doctors with a gift. They are so great with my 3 children, very gifted and patient individuals. The appointment was very fun for the kids. They are so patient and gentle that any fears fly out the door. Mother approved!! I trust them with my most valuable precious children. If you're a new parent just know that pediatric dentistry is very rushed and traumatic and there are other options. I now know why some people are scaried of the dentist. I trust my children and my and their teeth in the care of Breuckmann & Ross, DDS and their hygienists and whole staff. A+++ .

The BEST Dental practice in Johnson County. My family and I have been going to Breuckmann & Ross for 10 years. Their entire staff from the front desk to my favorite hygienist to the doctors have been Fantastic! Very professional, very giving of their time, not rushing us in and out and, even working on my younger kids to convince them why it is so important to brush their teeth. This is the ONLY family dental practice that I have enjoyed going to in my life.

I thought it was a great office, until i got in the dental chair. good environment, but the doctor wasnt very nice and overall i just had alot of problems with how the operated. Otherwise everything else was ok, but not the greatest experience.

You won't find a better dental practice in the Kansas City Metro than Breuckman and Ross. I've been a patient for 10 years and drive all the way from midtown KC to Olathe because of the extremely competent care I receive from EVERYONE at this office. My appointments are always comfortable, efficient and yes, even enjoyable. Always have great conversations and leave with a smile that's brighter than when I arrived. Take it from me, the daughter and granddaughter of dentists...book your next dental visit here!

I've been going to Dr Breuckmann for about a decade and am extremely happy with his work, he solved my aching jaw problem (the professional strength night bite guard has been great). I've been so pleased with his work that I finally got my wife to visit as she has challenging teeth and jaw issues. Dr. B has a solid network of specialist, e.g., oral surgeons, etc., that he partners with on the more intricate dental issues. I appreciate that Dr. B has vetted these specialists so that we don't have to. Anyway, end result with my wife is Dr. B and his network have significantly improved my wife's dental issues. Melissa has been my hygienist for the last several years and she does great work also, always followed up by a detailed exam by Dr. B. I've never had them cancel an appointment on me and they were very gracious when I had to cancel an appointment at the last minute. Best dentist and hygienists that I've ever been with. Same for my wife who has some very challenging dental issues.
