We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are cheque, cash, debit, credit cards and Care Credit.
Dr. Karl Breuckmann was born and raised in St. Joseph, Missouri. In fact, his dad still live in the same home where he grew up. After graduating salutatorian of his high school, Dr. Breuckmann attended the University of Missouri - Columbia. He graduated with honors from Mizzou with a degree in Biochemistry.
In addition to his teaching duties at UMKC, Dr. Breuckmann also served as an associate dentist in private practice, caring for patients in both Sweet Springs, MO and Higginsville, MO. Furthermore, Dr. Breuckmann chose to serve his country as a Captain in the United States Air Force Reserve. He was stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base. Dr. Breuckmann quite enjoyed his time in the Air Force, once spending two weeks in El Salvador on a humanitarian mission.
To keep current in dentistry, Dr. Breuckmann spends over 30 hours each year in continuing dental education. In addition to his work with local dental study clubs, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, and the Fifth District Dental Society of Kansas.
Dr. Breuckmann has four very active kids, two girls and two boys. He enjoys watching his children participate in premier soccer and competitive gymnastics. Dr. Breuckmann truly enjoys playing golf in his free time. He is a true sports fan, enjoying just about every sport out there. Dr. Breuckmann is a Chiefs season ticket holder and has been to every Royals home opener since 1995!
Shelly is our financial coordinator and has been with us for over eight years! She grew up in Burlington Kansas and moved to the KC area in 1985. She has been in the dental field since 1985. She has been married to her husband for 34 years and has two adult sons, Brandon and Sean. In her free time she loves to watch basketball, soccer, football, baseball and about any other sport. She love the Chiefs, Royals, Jayhawks, and Sporting KC. Shelly has a two year old Shih Tzu, Callie, who she adores.
