From 1978-1986 Dr. Alexander attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City where hebecame the first student at the University of Iowa to attain simultaneous Dental and Law degrees. In 1986 he and Dr. Bevan opened Olathe Family Dentistry, P.A. Dr. Alexander chose the Kansas City area because it was a large metropolitan area with a small town feel.
He enjoys getting to know his patients and values the relationships he has established with them. He feels privileged for the opportunity to provide superior dental care for his patients, their children and now, in many cases, their grandchildren.
Giving back is very important to Dr. Bevanand he is actively involved in local charities such as the Olathe District Schools Community Development program which provides local under privileged children with much needed dental care. In addition, he also coordinates and participates in annual medical mission trips to Central America and is responsible for implementing fluoride programs in other foreign countries.

Friendly and gracious. They are eager to help you with your kids. Would recommend for families of young children. My kids do countdowns to dental visits because they're excited.

The folks at Olathe Family Dentistry are friendly, easy to work with, accommodating, and most importantly are honest. My wife and I were facing multiple fillings each at another nearby dentist... Procedures which were deemed not necessary by Olathe Family Dentistry. I only wish I had found them before allowing the others to... Let's keep this about Olathe Family Dentistry... healthy teeth, great with kids, no nonsense. We will remain loyal customers.

My husband and I have both been very pleased with the whole staff at this office. We have tried several new offices in South Olathe and we're not pleased. We are happy we found this dental practice!

Where to start, the ladies at the front desk are absolutely amazing! Beth or Bethany would answer my calls was not the greatest. They rescheduled me to a much sooner date which fell on a family occasion. As much as I was looking forward to fixing this tooth as an emergency visit. I was forced to postpone. I called today to inform them I am traveling from a longer distance and would be arriving momentarily. I was responded to " you canceled 2x and can't be resechuled. 1st time they rescheduled me which I was great full for but unfortunately I couldn't miss the time or day that week. I was pushed to 06-23 which I have full intention just the drive took longer than expected. They were most interested in telling me what they wanted to start on. Instead of asking what was giving me the most pain at the time. The doctor who seems to not own any attire other than his last vacation Hawaiian shirts. Surprisingly asked where my discomfort was. I explained and followed up if we could avoid using the price on the spots. Not even 4 sec later. He disregarded my words and did it anyways. Again the ladies up from are rock stars. I unfortunately would recommend a dentist who cares more about the patients then the pockets.

I HIGHLY recommend Olathe Family Dentistry. Every single staff member that I've encountered has been beyond exceptional! Long story if you're curious: I have pretty high anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist, and my previous dentist had established this extensive plan of care that included root canals and crowns. Ended up switching to Olathe Family Dentistry, weeping through my first appointment while explaining everything my previous dentist said I needed. They helped me feel comfortable and calm, took xrays, and I got a thorough cleaning that didn't make me wince once! We reviewed my xrays and I was floored/ecstatic when they didn't recommend all of these incredibly expensive procedures that my previous dentist had insisted that I needed as soon as possible. It would have been so easy for them to jump on board with my previous plan, but instead, I got honest and thoughtful care. If you're looking for a new dentist (or find yourself questioning the recommendations of your current dentist), go to Olathe Family Dentistry.

I have not had the best of luck in the past with finding a good dentist, but with this one I am pretty sure I hit the jackpot ! First visit was a breeze! Going in tomorrow for a root canal.
