Dr. Kevin Grimm was always interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. He grew up watching his father practice general dentistry; seeing his fathers amazing dedication to help patients and mentor other dentists inspired Dr. Grimm to decide to pursue a career in dentistry himself. Dr. Grimm graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School, in the top half of his class. After graduation, he has continued to learn and master new skills to help his patients constantly. He is dedicated to providing the best dentistry possible and doing everything he can to help his patients keep their teeth for the duration of their lifetime. He has completed several advanced training programs in Oral Surgery, Endodontics, Implantology, Esthetic and Reconstructive Dentistry, and Orthodontics.

Went for the first time to have work done with Dr K Grimm,was there for a few hours,he did a great job and gave me my smile back where my missing teeth was missing,I have a fear of Dentist but felt good with Dr Grimm

I visited the Okemos smile center and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really liked Dr. Grimm. He made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. He is very down to earth and just a really nice guy. I highly recommend the smile center, it is clearly a five star dentist!

My daughter is terrified of the dentist but with Dr. Grimm she had a root canal with no problem. He did amazing with her. I highly recommend him! You

Dr Grimm saved my husband from pain, but he also saved teeth that other dentists have said he must remove..The staff is very friendly.. My family is forever grateful! Thank you Dr. Grimm!

I was grateful that Dr. Grimm could get me in almost right away for my dental emergency. He and his team were caring, friendly and took great care of me. I also loved the music he played during my visit! Would definitely recommend Dr. Grimm!

The staff was extremely caring and thoughtful. Went in for an emergency extraction and Dr. Grimm took great care of me. The process was quick and as painless as possible. Will definitely be returning and making this my regular dentist!

My daughter is terribly afraid of dentist and with Dr. Grimm she was at ease!! We have found our dentist today after our first visit! He listened and tended to the needs of my daughter without becoming frustrated! We will be recommending him to anyone who will listen! Thank you Dr. Grimm!!

My daughter had a tooth abscess from an improper filling being done where all the decay was not fully cleaned. When I called her established dentist to get in they refused me an appointment because I missed 1 appointment due to my daughter having covid. They said I needed to find a new dentist despite being there for 11 years while my other kids. They are still seeing the others but refused her. I called Dr.Grimm and he got me in the same day told me to head right in. My daughter was so nervous and his demeanor with her was impeccable! He had her laughing and calmed. He had to do an Incision and drainage to debris the area he even went to more conservative route to avoid doing a major procedure on her. The care we received was far above what we got at out other dentist and I will be switching all my children here. He provided great and thorough at home care instructions. We have out follow up appointment scheduled to keep an eye on things but he even went above offering if anything gets worse before the next appointment just to call and they will get her in right away. I couldn't have been happier with my care and services provided here. The staff were also amazing with her as well when she was nervous getting the xrays done

Great service. While other dentists would keep filling multiple cavities on the same tooth, leading to a Swiss cheese like structure, Dr. Grimm implanted a couple of crowns, and I think that was the right way to go. It really doesn't feel like I have crowns, the job was perfectly executed, and I'm quite picky. Dr. Grimm is a skilled, human and knowledgeable dentist. Plus, the price was really reasonable. I strongly recommend.

Dr. Grimm was very personable. Had replace a crown with a cavity under it.. He had mentioned I may also need a root canal. But after taking off the current crown he said I didn't need a root canal. I really appreciate his honesty. FyI he's very funny!

My initial visit for a teeth cleaning went well. The traveling hygienest and receptionist were nice. I made the follow-up appointment to have the tooth pulled that was infected. Dr. Grimm was horrible. First thing he said to me that morning was to ask why we weren't doing the bone graft. Then asked if I ever planned on getting a replacement. He was very short and rude about it. His attitude made me feel terrible before he even started. He didn't numb me enough before sarting the extraction and I could feel everything. I have never cried or wanted to leave in the middle of a procedure like I did last Friday. When I told him I could feel everything he commented that at least he half numbed me. It hurt so bad I had tears. he was rude to his assistant and to me the entire time because I couldn't control my tongue. He cranked up the radio so it was blasting in my ears. He actually asked several times if I hated him or was mad at him. I just wanted it over with so I could get out of there. I was bleeding and had to have stitches. The last thing he said to me before leaving the room was "lets not do this again real soon". His assistant described him as being "intense" but another name comes to my mind. I chose him because his website boasts about being non-judgemental and caring, compassionate, and GENTLE. He was none of those and I would let my teeth rot before going to him again. I wish I could have recorded what went on in that room. He is horrible. Michelle Whitman
